When I were a lad, growing up in Bridgford:
Rush goalie = you appoint a single keeper but they also play as an outfield player, higher up the pitch, and just scarper back quickly when needed.
Floating keeper = anyone from your team can become the goalie in your own penalty area and save stuff as required. Just depends who gets into position first.

Yeah, that's pretty much the generally accepted 5 a side rules round here. Anyone can get back so it's a floating keeper.

I think our version of Floating Keeper was 'flying keeper' oddly. Definitely rush goalie for a designated keeper who could come out of goal when in possession (which is really basically a goalkeeper if you think about it).
We use the rush goalie terminology now in 5aside when one team is a player down but generally it means flying keeper.

A player who's a team's star player, with four years remaining on his contract where there is no need to sell, going for £1m difference to a player who had one year left on his contract and had stated he wasn't going to be signing a new one, at a club who have a huge amount of depth in that area of the pitch, isn't at all surprising.
