I agree wholeheartedly. He’s a very good young player with lots of talent, who clearly wants to play football on a regular basis. I’d love to see him back at the City Ground, and also bear in mind that we have a lot of overseas players competing for the squad, whereas Garner is a home player. Having said that, I’d also be happy to see him go somewhere else where he gets to develop and show what he’s capable of. On another note, it’s somewhat strange that two days after another abject performance by United, they’ve made this announcement about a player who’s yet to feature for them in either game played. I’d have thought that there would be other candidates ahead of Garner who ought to have been shown the door. By now.I mean, you may well be right. I'd just feel bad for him if he leaves United for his own personal development and then comes here and barely plays.
