Steve Cooper will always be the MAN!

It’s simple. Which side of the fence are you on?

I genuinely can’t believe people have taken from this that he is unhappy or frustrated, what planet are people on.

Planet shite stir.

If you look carefully, at 0:38 into the video, he is blinking out „Oh God what have I done!“ in Morse Code.

It's all about mid-table...
I know we all get excited about signings but there is a big job on for Cooper to make sure they all gel quickly, and if he does in my opinion he is a genuinely world class manager.
What if he doesn't though? He forged a great team in the 2cnd div, now he has to do it all again.

I know nobody wants to think about that atm.

As long as he keeps us up it doesn't matter if it takes a lot of time for us to gel together. I for the record think it will come together quite well, there's already been some signs of cohesion in our last friendly. I have total faith in the man and the club as a whole

First Team Squad
I have faith but it's a big ask to get what will be practically a new team gelling in a highly competitive environment.
I wouldn't be surprised if we struggle in the early games but Coops will hopefully get us there in the end.
The other important element is the infamous plan B. A lot of promoted teams start fairly well but quickly get sussed out. Coops has shown he's happy to change shape mid game so hopefully that won't be an issue.
I just hope everyone is patient - fans and EM.

That's why despite our excellent business, survival at all costs has to be the aim, definitely a tough environment to gel a whole new team.

It's not to say if we really struggle at the start that Steve Cooper is not capable in the PL, I hope the owner and fans will realise this.

Agenda Benda
I was talking with my son about this last night. We both agreed that the plan/sequencing of incoming transfers looks right so that the defence and goalkeepers all done early bar Toffolo.

You go into the first 5 games strong enough in defence. If we can keep teams at bay and hope we might get lucky to nick a goal here and there as the team come to know one and other in anger.

Putting Lingard in the mix with Johnson should be potent if they can work up a partnership like JL and Bowen at W Ham. Just need Awoniyi to come good like Antonio.

Working out a CM pairing looks to be last on the agenda, and we were both wondering if this is let's wait for Garner's situation to develop.

A few facts pulled from a few places, apparently ignored by the doom mongers:

1. He’s Stevie Cooper
2. Stevie Cooper hates the Leicester, and he hates the Derby
3. He loves the Garibaldi
4. We’re magic
5. We’re having fun
6. He’s taken us back where we belong.

What more proof do you need that the contract is not an issue?
