So players and managers have media obligations. That get asked these questions by Sky/BBC/whoever. Then if they don't like the answers, they throw a mardy about it? Isn't that a bit hypocritical.

The FA are the guardians of the game, they should be more worried about the consistent decline of the stanfard of officiating.

I've spoken to fans of various clubs today, literally everybody is fed up of it and VAR as well.

They don't give a shit as long as the money is rolling in from overseas tv rights.

I think that’s pretty limp, on first read.
The Luton conflict of interest was a side note, not the whole story. This is about the shafting of our club over such a consistent period of time that we’ve had no choice but to escalate it publicly. Making it about who supports who weakens our argument for everyone that thinks ‘every club has had a rough trot’.

We’re in this fight now, whether or not it was the right call. We’ve drawn the sword. The only response to that predictable FA statement was a strong and assertive one. Not a climb down.

Where’s the detailed montage of every screw up we’ve suffered this year?

The whole tweet yesterday was about Atwell's allegiances. The club made it the story.
+ 3 pens
+ the multiple times previously that patience has been tested
+ reviewing options

Some onlookers outside the club might have assumed we’re annoyed about one game. But they’d have been reading it wrong.

This is a good point.

We need to start with the list of all the bad officiating decisions we have had this season.

Even in the opening game vs Arsenal we scored to make it 2-1 to them and VAR had a massive look at it.

Then we went up 2-0 vs Man U and they let them back in with that dodgy pen/red card to equalise

Every single one, plus who was on ref and VAR.

There has to be a pattern.

I’m just surprised there isn’t a YouTube vid or something that I can easily send to mates who think our beef has come out of nowhere and have only really heard that Wolves got some bad decisions once.

For me even some of the time keeping is suspect, as is why they look at some incidents, or forensically look at some goals and barely look at others. That isn’t against us necessarily, although it has happened, but the whole way the farce works.

The first half there was 2 minutes added time. Then 73 seconds of that was for a stoppage. Still blew up after 2 minutes.

So we didn’t even ask for atwell to be stood down? So we didn’t ask for that and now we are kicking up a fuss? We really are behind the scenes one great disorganised fruitcake. My jaw dropped reading that. I honestly can’t believe how incompetent we are.

So many goals against ‘favoured’ teams seem to be forensically analysed just in case anything is amiss and they can chalk it off. Not just in our games I should add.

Someone with a lot of time on their hands needs to analyse all this stuff properly. Maybe, say, a refereeing analyst and a bunch of interns 😂.

We questioned it, we can’t ask for him to be removed. How are we disorganised in this. PGMOL are the ones who have f**ked up here allowing this appointment.

No. This isn’t what happened if you read the tweet from the club an hour ago. The issue was raised by the club to the PGMOL prior to the game. We presumably stopped short of directly asking for a replacement as this isn’t allowed under the rules.

It was the goal we scored at home to Arsenal that stood out like a sore thumb to me. Didn’t look wrong or off side in any way but they went through it all with a fine tooth comb. For about two minutes. Two minutes that went in to injury time which wasn’t fully added on at the end.

When Man Utd were chasing an equaliser at ours, and Liverpool a winner it was pretty much play on forever.

As I say it isn’t just us. It happens loads, huge inconsistencies between how VAR is applied and injury time. Things change through the season as well. It is an utter farce.

For example yesterday Bournemouth got a penalty at Villa park and they went back and they started looking at a soft, nothing ‘infringement’ up the other end in the lead up to the penalty. I say the lead up, it was t really that close. Why do they do that sometimes but other times they won’t, sometimes they don’t look at very contentious moments. Utter farce.

I'm still here Crewton
Could you hear us singing "Anthony Taylor it's all about you" yesterday or did Sky silence that?

Mostly the crowd feed sounded like they were focussing on crewton and his scouse mates

I’ve supported Forest for a very long time & seen us when we were the best team in Europe to being a pile of crap in what used to be division 3. But the standard of refereeing this season has been the worst I’ve seen. Referees don‘t appear to know the rules, are inconsistent within games & inconsistent from game to game. AND we have VAR which is supposed to correct incorrect decisions. But it’s not and I don’t know why. The clubs need to get to the bottom of this.
