SORT THE BLOODY WATER OUT FOREST

Redemption

One less gobshite...
IT'S MATCHDAY!
Many questions will be asked!
Did forest use the intl break wisely and fix the water? Will there be any water? Who's going to be sitting with shit stained hands for 90 mins?
What are you actually doing when you go to the loo? 😭

They need to sort the bloody lock out on the disabled toilet door in the lower TE.
Had my kecks down when some f***er just opens it up! Apparently, it’s been broken for ages!

At least you guys can get into the bogs to see that the water isn't working or the loos are full!

In our Steve Bull Stand (where they stick you away fans), you need to start queuing for the bog 5 minutes into the match to ensure that you'll be out in time for full time.

No water in the Lower Trent End bogs at full time. Did we sell the pipe to comply with FFP?

So, I haven't seen it mentioned in the thread, but the 'scoop' (I'm so ITK) on this is:-
The club know there is a problem with a mains supply pipe to the ground, namely, it can't keep up with matchday demand - and they have done for some time.
The club can't simply dig up the pipe and upgrade it - that has to be done by the water supplier.
The water supplier can't simply dig up the pipe and upgrade it, as they need council permission and co-ordination of road closures, diversions etc.
The council department responsible for this are, shock, sitting on their hands and doing nothing. Whilst another department at the council writes strongly worded letters to the club telling them that they need to get the problem sorted on health and safety grounds.
And this just adds to the club's ongoing frustration with the council.

This suprises me. To engage in section 50 street works, the utility co does need a permit, but it's a formality if they reach the conditions

Conditions
You must give at least 7 working days’ notice and have a qualified supervisor on site during work. There must always be a trained person on site.

You must:

  1. minimise inconvenience to people using the street
  2. protect the structure of the street
  3. guard and light any part of the street which is broken up or obstructed
  4. use traffic signs to help traffic if necessary
  5. You must repair the street and as soon as possible when the work is finished and tell the council within 10 working days when it’s repaired.

I believe there are restrictions on certain roads - such as those that are on bus routes. But I'll check back with my inside man.
