Season Cards 2024/2025

Can I just say I hated the owners before it became mainstream to do so?

Unpopular opinion but when you put those prices in the context of modern day premier league football, they are not actually that bad at all.
Football as it is is way too expensive and I can understand the frustration, but in the context of the money grabbing beast which is modern day English football, it could be much worse.

This excuse only half washes if we stay up though.

It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't know that the extra profit from the money will just go to pay for vanity projects, not any players who'll actually be useful to the club.

Maybe we can afford Akpom if we stay up now? :ROFLMAO:

Today shows that the club doesn’t care about any of us. The social media posts, which are nothing more than passive aggressive bullying using the ridiculous waiting list as a weapon to beat us with, proves it

It’s painful. As a lifelong supporter, through all the shit we’ve put up with, and still carried on supporting, this feels terminal. I don’t know how they turn this around.

The fact that they’ve been blasted all day from all corners over this and still pushing the agenda oblivious to any feedback is crazy. Supporters Trust and I’m sure Forza will have made feelings known. They are also being ignored.

All the bullshit about being a family, a community, uniting the City has been flushed down the shitter in a day.

How can this be fixed? I’ve never felt so let down. The Mark Arthur “we’re serious about promotion” bollocks pales in comparison.

And we all know we’ll wait until this has blown over and flog MGW, Murillo, Elanga to be replaced by utter dross on daft wages, giving Mendes a few million in the process.

What a f***ing disaster

What's the plans for protests then? My brother is thinking of a banner, but they usually get taken away pretty sharpish by the stewards.

Need some anti Maranakis chanting in the next few games. Is "sack the board" too strong? Maybe "greedy board" is pitched at the right level? Although my one saving grace for thinking he's not a shit owner was his community work and pricing. After running the club like Fawaz, Maranakis has now priced season cards in proportion with his days also so maybe we should sack the board...

Tom Cartledge can f*** off to, spineless ****.

Hilarious that people at the club couldn't work out why Marinakis never got the same amount of love that Steve Cooper got, it's shit like this.

That said, Marinakis is the man with the money, it's a business for him. Tom Cartledge is supposed to be a Forest fan, but he's front and centre of not only this but floating the idea of us moving away from the City Ground.

Realistically though, do we see a 20% improvement in the club coming in the next season? I don't see it lmao.

We're run by bellends.
Bell ends would be an improvement Alfred.

Like you, I gave up my ST several years ago, in my case, when I emigrated, having held it for fifteen years since I moved back to Nottingham.

This sort of price-gouging is typical of the Premier League mindset and it’s an insult to the matchday supporters, who make the atmosphere what it is.

Forest won’t care, because they can sell those tickets to PL tourists.

You know, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so removed from what was „my“ club?

(I’m not going to bore everyone by comparison with my local side, but suffice to say, their would be riots if the VfB - or any German club, for that matter - pulled a stunt like this).

If Tom Cartledge has approved those tweets then he needs to resign.

If he hasn't approved those tweets then he needs to sack the person who published them.

If he, for some reason, can't do that, then he needs to resign.

Most if not all people will still renew regardless of their opinions on the matter and that’s what Forest are banking on. If you don’t renew as long as someone else takes your seat Forest don’t care.

For a lot of people football clubs are a massive part of their lives. I remember talking to a family at Wembley who had spent 2k on 4 tickets Club Wembley Tickets come down the night before stayed over night in a nice hotel that was instead of there family holiday that year. That’s how much people love their football club. Sadly owners take advantage of that.

Our club is run horribly on and off the pitch. We have a 4 point deduction which could see us go down. That’s because we are run badly. So this price increase is no shock.

The way the club has dealt with this is shocking. Create a waiting list before prices are released, release season ticket prices with a ridiculous increase in price and then use the waiting list as a threat to renew.

Really grim and shows what the club really thinks about their fans.
It’s not just Forest to be fair-the majority of top clubs view their fans as a cash cow and
take them for granted.

It’s a real shame for those who won’t be able to afford to go next season, especially the older people who have seen a price increase make it impossible for them. Though given the tweets about record renewal (no reason to believe its false), I imagine a lot of the twitter / online backlash is just hot air, and venting frustrations before eventually forking over the cash to renew, I mean its like train fare increases, you get pissed off, but you’re still gonna have to make that journey.

And I guess the large waiting list was a tactical plan, to show season card holders that if they can’t afford it, plenty can. It is a real shame, but it is the price of ‘success’
Possible relegation isn’t success.

Maranakis on a piece of string and all I could do was kick his head in.

A good post.
I just wonder if some people will wait until the deadline (10 May) before they finally decide-if
it looks as if we are dropping by then (with only 2 games left) maybe some won’t bother
renewing (those that can afford to).

The problem with organising any sort of protest is that some fans are ignoring the fact that the majority of people will still renew and if we believe the club, they already have.

For every person that can’t afford it, there'll probably be ten people who can and then there’s all those people on the waiting list who are willing to pay the prices to see Premier League football.

I’m not supporting the price hike as it’s extortionate. The club should have introduced a scheme alongside the announcement, which allowed season ticket holders to sell tickets for all home games. If you can’t afford a season ticket, but know you can sell tickets for some games, it would help.

I don’t think the current ticket exchange allows season ticket holders to sell tickets for all games. It’s the communication and lack of planning of an affordable scheme that has been really poor from the club.

I see lifelong forest fan Tom cartledge, who has suggested leaving the city ground and now hiked up season ticket prices, has deleted his twitter account
I bet Benoy has a good on line presence for people to tell him their opinions on his stewardship of OUR club.

As a family we have 3 season tickets and 3 memberships top level. The memberships never got asked to pay £10. Did they automatically add us to that 11,000 standbys ??

A very eloquent way of saying simply,

„f*** off, Tom“.

The fans don't deserve relegation, but the club sure f'cking does. The way this club has been ran since besides when Murphy and Cooper were here is an absolute f'cking shambles.

The fans deserve Premier League football, the ownership deserves an empty ground in League One. Twats.

I have to say when i read those tweets last night i just muttered under my breath "club needs relegated"

It really did come across as downright disrespectful

I think it’s all part of the plan. Add some red cardboard to the back of the stands, create a fan advisory board, tell everyone how cheap it’s been, create a waiting list, and wham bam thank you ma’am.

They sell out every week anyway, so frankly my dear they don’t give a fukc.
