I like this, we are starting to see some succession planning. He's one to replace CHO if he leaves (another season like the last one and we won't hold onto him) and have as backup for him in the meantime.

We've seen it with a few other links too. We might just be getting our act together.

He’s not 18 until September so I assume it would be January if he was to come here (which also allows him to finish the season in Brazil I think).

just how many gems does Palmeiras possessed ? west ham just signed 18 yr old Luis Guilherme for 30 euros from the same club a few days ago. 5 million euros seemed derisory compared to that.

There is no better sight in a morning than a nice tidy Brazilian.

Brahma beer on draft at the WFCG and caipirinha cocktails, capoeira dancing in the Trent End? I’m here for it.

Nottingham Forestinho!

Loads. It’s an absolute production line. The first team players move to Europe (big leagues if good enough, smaller leagues if level below) or the middle east for more money, leaving constant gaps for young players to fill, so there are always opportunities for youth players.

Add to that the big Rio and SP clubs hoover up thousands of kids from all over the country (200m+ people) and it’s just a talent factory at a club like Palmeiras.

Encouraging transfer strategy this. Really like it.

Have a feeling the team EM has in Portugal might get a couple of younger prospects from us.
