He didn‘t score many, but those he did were all absolute bangers.

Not a great goal scorer, but a scorer of great goals.

I remember his debut, think it was a pre season friendly. First minute, someone pinged it at him, he killed it stone dead and then knocked a lovely pass twenty or thirty yards straight to a team mate’s feet.

Me and my old man looked at each other and went “yep, he’ll do”. After three years watching dogshit cloggers like Darryl Powell, Gary Holt, David Friio etc (the list is endless) trapping it farther than they could kick it, it was almost enough to make me weep lol

Plus, I mean WBA away, Derby at home, Palace away. Loved Radi

Have to admit to being abit frustrated by him as a player though some fond memories. Loved that goal against West Brom and he did have a good game or two in him, but lacked consistency and was abit lightweight.

I wrote and recorded most of a song about him back in the day. I'll have to see if I can find it...

Fantastic little player he was. Really great times to watch him with Cohen, Moussi, and McKenna as captain.

What a good blend in the middle of the park they were. Then you had the direct pace on the wings of Paul Anderson and Nathan Tyson, whether off the bench or otherwise. Shorey and Gunter overlapping.

McGugan off the bench to score a late winner or equaliser.

McGoldrick, Blackstock, and Adebola were quite clever at holding the ball up and winning free kicks.

For all of Billy Davies's faults, he built a squad and presented a gameplan at least. And came very close to promotion every time.

There’s also a pic with him and Julian Bennett but I can’t be f**ked to find it on Twitter again.

The lady with us on our table asked if her son would know who he is and if she needed to get an autograph. He was 12 so I said probably not.
