I honestly hope the next guy is tactically sophisticated and demanding of the players. I've always believed players will work hard if they understand the ideas the manager wants out of them and how that application will get them something. The players are good enough, but the ideas are not. Cooper just hasn't grown enough as a manager over the past 18 or so months.

What the feck has happened to Dominguez? He looked like a machine in his first three games. Now I’m almost missing Freuler. Almost.

What the feck has happened to Aina. He was being talk up as player of the season and his levels have dropped off a bloody cliff

Are this lot all such delicate little flowers that at the first sign of trouble they curl up in a ball and give up?

Grow as set lads and get stuck in!!

Not an ideal situation for a prospective new manager to walk into. Need to be desperate, deluded, full of avarice or savant. Or, any combination.

Probably but will he be better? Arguably SC was the only managerial appointment EM made which was a good one, though most were an improvement on the previous one.

And we are going to need significant improvement to be able to progress over the next few years more than Cooper is.
Might as well just get the players to do a dressing room poll, as they’re the ones who really sack the manager/head coach.

Feel sad watching this as it feels like the end. We are miles off it, no shape & no real style of play.

If Cooper makes it past this game he needs to go to a back 3 & set us up to defend for our lives.
Yep. I'm gonna watch to the bitter end tonight but this does feel like the end. This is the sort of performance that gets a manager the sack. He might survive until the weekend but I suspect it might not matter what we do against Wolves. This is horrible!

Thing is we're still quite a way clear of the bottom in terms of points too, we have 13, and the sides below 9, 7, 7, 5. Of course if we keep losing matches and the sides below win a couple that will close up but we've played 15 now which is almost half the season.

A win or two and that will change I'm sure...

Million dollar question but they'd struggle to be worse.

I don't know

We're still clear of the bottom 3 and probably aren't one of the 3 worst teams in the league.

We're not a club in crisis, there are much worse jobs out there

How? he got us promoted and kept us up which is more than any manager since Clark has done. Look at Leicester last season.
