I think they’re attempting to build an atmosphere similar to Palace’s Holmesdale End ? …but wi subtle differences ……there’s only about 7 of em and one banging a stick on a bucket, they’re pants …….oh aye and you must wear a black t-shirt 🙄

The whole English "ultras" thing really makes my piss itch. I genuinely feared that the Forza/Lower Bridgford movement had the potential to turn into something similar. Fortunately there were enough of the old A Block lot involved to resist it.
Our atmosphere has been pretty unique over the last couple of seasons and we should do everything in our power to preserve this.

Had my tuppence worth earlier ……atmospheric grounds are becoming a thing of the past …..someone will pop along with the argument of new ground acoustics fair do’s but I know what I prefer,

I don’t give Sunlun the lickings of a dog but I’ve got to admit the old Fulwell End made a proper noise.

One of a number of reasons why I always argue against the suggestion of us moving to a new ground.

I think a lot of people who think we should move away from the City Ground will soon regret that decision if that ever came to pass. You don't know what you've got until its gone, and once it is gone it is gone forever; with all the will in the world there's no recreating what we have now at the City Ground.

I think the moving of home fans from LB has helped spread the noise around the ground. A block is still like a silent disco from where I'm sat as the sound echos around

It’s valid. I don’t know any Forest fan that advocates moving. 99% want the maximum capacity developed, we don’t know what that is but 40k passionate supporters I’d prefer.

Problem is all these clubs trying to replicate Palace in terms of PL atmosphere, main issue is Palace have a pretty crap atmosphere themselves.

Us & Newcastle are the only clubs to have a really good atmosphere in the Prem.

We played pretty well I thought, certainly a marked improvement on the away days at the big boys from last season.

I still thought we were far too passive in the first half, no problem with us sitting back but you need to be able to take the pressure off occasionally & we struggled to retain the ball well enough to gives ourselves much of a chance. That said, the back 3 were good & we managed to restrict Arsenal to half chances & long range efforts.

The 2nd half was much better, even before the subs we had started to compete a little higher up the pitch. Turner was pretty solid & distributed well, Aina had another strong game, Worrall looked at home in the middle of the back 3 & the two attacking subs completely tilted the game in our favour.

Only real downer was Aurier who looked way off the pace, the two in midfield struggled a bit as well but I suppose that was to be expected considering the work they had to get through.

Welcome to the Premier League.

Nobody gives a shit about us now. We're not a story now we've been up a year and have a reasonably settled squad so we've just slipped into that middling nothing category along with Palace, Wolves and Bournemouth and probably a few others until we eventually

We're not from London, we're not newly promoted, we aren't doing anything ridiculous, we're not a massive club struggling like Everton so we're just sort of fading into the background now.
Absolute bunkum. There’s no way Forest will ever ‘fade into the background’. WE ARE NOTTINGHAM FOREST and Big Mara and us, the fans, will never let that happen. You’ll see, at the City Ground on Friday, us far from a ‘middling nothing category’. Get a grip youth.

Like I posted earlier I'm talking about how we're viewed in the grand scheme of things in the Premier League, by others.

Obviously this is a massive game for us and Sheff Utd but most of the league probably won't even realise it's going on. It's not even on TV ffs.

100% agree,Rian.
However,I think Omar has a point-even in the Brian Clough European glory era we probably never received
due credit from the national press.
It’s worse now-with the London based media obsessed with the ‘big boys’.

I get that Cloughie, I think it’s up to the club to show the ambition to force our way into the mix in terms of results, league position and signings. We’ll never have the profile of the Big 6, but I’m not arsed about that. I like the idea of punching above our weight and pissing on the their chips. It’s what’s made us unique over the years.

As someone who lives in London I have to say there is a degree of truth in what Omar is saying there

Very few people down here have any knowledge of anyone besides the London and Manchester teams, and Liverpool

I can guarantee you even our game on Friday were on TV there'd be no-one in any of the pubs round me watching it, certainly not any neutrals

Whereas for the teams mentioned above it's usually packed
