We've been wanting Forest to be more attacking and less afraid of teams like Newcastle as opposed to the 'low block hope to hit them on the break and score' set up we've been using.

Looks like today's the day we find out how not showing the opposition fear will work for this squad.

I think we can spring a major surprise here.
I certainly hope we can spring a surprise., and I think EM has been quite clear in his brief to Nuno: play less fearful football!
I also think Nuno is taking today's game and probably the weekend game too, as "free hits".
He wants to see just what every man in his squad is capable of.
Interesting to see Joe worrall brought back in from the cold.

We lose every week anyway so even if this spectacularly fails it doesn’t change much.

Another manager, same old throw of the dice.

I want to be fair, so if Cooper had done that for this game, I would have said probably taking a risk on a team change in a game we might expect to lose.

So I'm hoping that Nuno has some similar motive.

You Reds.
I'd have loved to have seen the reaction to Cooper fielding that line-up from his detractors. They would have been stating he'd lost the plot lol.

Newcastle have lost games this season I doubt they'd have lost last season.

I wonder if that's to do with them having the additional pressure and distraction of the Champions League.

It's probably the best time to have a go at them as they're coming off a loss to Luton. Clearly they can be outbattled so I'd like to have seen Yates in midfield. Other than that, really hope the plan works.

Don't like that one bit. Leaving out Williams who's been great is a kick in the teeth. No toff or Yates as well, to many changes for me and Danilo has looked poor in recent games. I'll give him props for going for an attacking set up though.

Well blow me down. Prime are doing a fairly lenghty and decent Forest/Cooper/Nuno feature in the build up (in amongst the Newcastle love in)..
That surprised me as well. The program had only been 20 minutes before we got a mention! 😂
Better than Sky so far.

Hmm.

While I don't expect us to get anything away at Newcastle, I would be happier if we are least had a go.

Let's hope Newcastle don't get away with murder today. That's all in the past allegedly
