To be honest, I think we'll either see no points deductions at all next year, or a plethora of them.I admire your optimism.
If we somehow avoid relegation (and lets face it, the F.A might well just dock us points for "bringing the game into disrepute" if they don't get their wish through refereeing decision against us) then we'll probably just get slapped with a points deduction next season and we'll get te same PGMOL drama as well.
We won't have an enjoyable season at this level whilst the league despises us and the owner can't put in place any long term strategy. It's all about finishing 17th, every year.
And on that basis, I don't think any manager will want to stay with us long term. The BS got to Cooper, Nuno is clearly struggling already, whoever replaces him will do as well.
Everton will breach again, as will Leicester. Villa and Newcastle are at risk, and Bournemouth. It will be so absurd that the League won't be able to prosecute all those clubs at once.
I do genuinely believe we'll be better next year. It often takes several years of fighting relegation before clubs get to the point where they can survive comfortably in mid-table. I said it regularly all last summer when people were predicting wildly optimistic finishes this season.
I don't see Nuno's struggles as a problem with the board or ownership, like they were with Cooper. I think he's struggling with the PSR charges and the relegation battle, but has it in him to push the club forward once the madness has passed.
