Nuno was too good (both as a manager and a person) for that club and their fans.

They deserve Postecoglu.

Was chatting to my West Ham son in law yesterday and we were exchanging Ange quotes from interviews after agreeing he is a mardy twat when they lose and everybodies friend whan they win.

We both (he predictably I suppose being for an opposing London team) thought the guy is just unpleasant.

I still see neutrals & pundits all the time saying we are boring to watch but effective

I am assuming it purely comes from them just looking at our possession stats & not actually watching our matches

We have hardly had a boring game all season & are one of the most exciting teams in the league when we attack, which is all the time that we have the ball.

The video that went viral against Brighton of us having a counter attack, losing it, then about 6 of our players including 3 defenders sprinting past Brighton players to get back behind the ball, we are a team that just defend really damn well which lazy people interpret as boring.

We must be really crap.
Against Brighton we only had 37% posession.
God only knows how we had 19 shots, 10 on target and scored 7 goals.

In talks for a new deal according to Percy
To quote his article "The Portuguese has just under 18 months left on his deal and Forest are set to instigate talks over improved terms."

So, nothing's been done yet. Percy with more 'likely news' filler.

I think they are people that haven't actually watched us. I understand that they can't watch everyone but they make it sound as though they have. I have seen a few that have the opposite opinion though. Joe Cole was on a podcast yesterday and he said that were his favourite team to watch this season as we're exciting.

There is certainly no coincidence that we have got off lightly on the injury front with our style compared to Big Ange losing half his squad after running them into the ground every match. Spurs fans would give anything for a bit of Nuno-ball now.

Spurs and their fans deserve Ange. Nuno wasn't "fashionable" enough for them.

Not that I'm complaining, I hope Nuno remains Forest manager for a very long time.

I normally turn off when the "experts" are doing their analysis and stuff, but the ones I have seen lately have nearly all been very flattering of us, saying it's great to see an old style of football again and that the speed with which we attack when we win the ball makes it exciting to watch.

It's the prem the majority of so called fans don't actually watch games!

Nuno is clearly a brave manager, but also a thinking manager seeing as it's got him results.

So, what insights does the ranking show?
A statistical analysis of in-game formation changes and league position shows there is a very very weak correlation between, and by weak it means none.
Nor is there a correlation between squad cost and in game formation changes.
In fact, I can’t find anything it correlates to, other than The Athletic’s dire need to sell more subscriptions.

I love a good stat, and that’s a banger.

It does show how tactically switched-on he is though, making such adjustments in-game.

And yes, bringing on Morato is indeed a tactical change, but it’s done so to close-out a game.

And boy does that work!
