Next manager to get the chop. 2023/24 Season.

1) Dyche/Everton. 1 point on the board from 4 games and they play Arsenal (home), Brentford (away), Villa (away) as their next three. Conceivably could be on 1 point from 7 games. New owners, who didn't appoint him, might fancy changing it up.

2) Burnley/Kompany: 0 points on the board. Face Forest (away), Man Utd (home), Newcastle (away) as their next three. Another side who might be on 7 games and yet to register a win. Any more spankings and their owners might feel that Kompany can't adapt to the realities of a much tougher league. Have spent £100m net transfer spend on young/untested players which will put further pressure on Kompany - they need to actually see some potential ROI.

How he even got the Southampton job to begin with if baffling, he has left both clubs he’s managed in a worse state than when he left them whilst in the process brainwashed the population into thinking his god awful way of playing is revolutionary & will be rewarded if you show patience. The reality is the demand for patience is just a way to keep him in the job, there is nothing from his body of work to suggest you get anything other than a team that plays a style of football that’s 5 years out of date & is so easy to play against.

Tifo did a video about Everton , said they aren’t actually as bad as they seem and if they continue the way they’re playing they should be okay. Trouble finishing so maybe this new striker they bought would help, should defo be better than their current crop of dogshit finishers.

Problem is they've had an easy start to the season.

Wolves and Fulham at home, both who are in semi-turmoil and expected to be nearer the bottom, and they lost both, even if they should have got something from the game.

They got a draw against a dog-shit Sheff Utd side and really had to grind for that, could have lost in last minute.

Only decent team they've played is Villa, they lost 4-0.

Compare with Forest who went toe-to-toe with Man Utd away, beat Chelsea away and despite massively undperforming against that dogshit Sheff Utd side were still the better team and eventually got the win.

Problem was the games they did wel in, they took minimal points and were against teams they should be battling. As Maxi mentioned their run of games now is tough.

Plus factor in a potential points deduction they will need points on the board.

I think Kompany will be safe for a while yet, they have had a tough start - a result against us will change the view of their start.

I’m going for Tin Haag - summat rotten going on there, lose a few more, they’ll be dropping down the table. Only thing in his favour is they don’t have many tough games until Dec.

You could be right.

Don't like the bloke one bit, and I don't think he's particularly anything special as a manager, but what exactly do their board expect given the resources that he has at his disposal?
4 more years 4 more years 😍

Said it on the other thread but they would be idiots to sack him, basically relegates them on that decision.

It’s clear the players buy into Heckingbottom & he has done a good job there. He has them fighting, other managers won’t.

Can't stand Heckingbottom but he's on a hiding to nothing this season
He’s an absolute wanker, that team of thugs is built in his image.

They would still be mad to sack him, he basically saved them from going bust a few months ago and has them competing in every game so far.

What the f*** will Wilder do, all he does is call his players a bag of shite after his overlapping centre back formation got sussed.

I'm ok with it boys.

Bournemouth away to Everton then home in the Gary O'Neil Derby. Iraola must be under pressure with the money spent as well.

O'Neil I thought did a great job with the Bournemouth squad last year and so far again is performing commendably with Wolves.

One of the managers to keep an eye on together with Edwards at Luton.

As for the others near the bottom, I think Sheff U and Everton will get even worse if they were to get rid of Heckingbottom and Dyche. Kompany is likely to have plenty in the bank even if the current run continues.

Heckingbottom looks nailed on to be next our the door for me, but I do agree it will only make them worse.

Dyche bought himself a reprieve with the Brentford win.

Kompany, Ten Haag and Iraola most at threat at the moment.

Think Heckingbottom is safe for now purely based on the fact they've had limited investment and they're where everyone thought they would be.
