Because the conversation was about someone repeating unsubstantiated rumours about another owner and my point was there are plenty of those going around about our own.

So to be clear poor old EM was targeted by unscrupulous owners of other football clubs, the media and political parties but you can confidently say as a Oly fan with no bias whatsoever it's all BS :)

All a bit Donald Trump for me.

But Rz that's not true. If you stay in the prem for a number of years (not sure how many it is for Palace but its at least 10?), and run your club sensibly rather than using every last penny, you will build up reserves based on actually being in the black year on year rather than the red .I'm not saying it will be huge sums and it won't be enough to every bring you up to the Manchester City level but it does mean that you can afford that little bit more over a club like ours if you think its a good investment.

Palace made a 40m loss last year, 57m the year before that.

They have no cash reserves, they spend what they get from TV money like we are doing.

yes me and our Legal System which is not an Olympiakos fan and found that there was nothing in those accusations. Do you know that the man who implicated his name was visited at 2.00 at night by a Greek Minister of Defense for this reason, a man who EM threw him out of a big social event when he was in the past Minister of Maritime because he was a complete jerk?

and you perhaps don't know that our legal system send the case to court just by indications and not evidence.

and since i am an Olympiakos fan and i wanted my team to be owned and run by someone who DOESN'T HAVE THE SLIGHTEST connection to drugs i have read ALL the case and followed up on this for years.

i wouldn't give a f*** if he is Olympiakos' owner or not, in case he had anything to do with drugs especially. I would ask for his head on a plate.

because i am an Olympiakos fan i ask for this more. we are not thinking all like perhaps what you have in mind. it's completely undermining to say that we would close our eyes to an owner that has anything to do with drug dealing!

My original post was a joke in response to someone talking about allegations with regard to another owner.

Someone then asked what the allegations were, so I listed some.

Then the Greek defence force turned up who swear they've no bias or vested interest lol Quite why they frequent this forum is anyone's guess, well not that it requires much guessing...

And again the CIA comment was in regard to the usual excuse that its some Greek grand conspiracy to bring down this righteous man...I wasn't making a judgement either way, just pointing out the allegations haven't just been Greek.

Every police force, secret service etc has been repugnant at times. Should we totally disregard anything they say?

We've always had people who will defend our owners no matter what; Fawaz, ND (often me), even Wray and Scholar had apologists. This is the first time it's been professional.
