I think there is a also a limit on loans out. Pretty sure PSG had that problem when we were taking Navas off them.

My guess is that he's seen as someone who can be used deeper (as a MGW successor) as opposed to out and out forward - he seems to have that kind of one step ahead awareness of players around him.
Just a hunch and suspect we won't here from him again as the club would want to be in charge of his development if we were to pay 15m.
