I just love the clear statement of F**k PSR with these transfers. No doubt both clubs would prefer to just keep their young up and coming youth players rather than sell them but to openly do these trades is a great way to highlight how the current system is not fit for purpose
It’s also the collusion between clubs (rivals) which makes me laugh. Premier league has nowhere to go with this.

Next transfer is Forest pay 120m for Bailey and Villa pay 120m for MGW, that would sort us both out for a while :)
Ooooh are they equivalents…?

Bailey is an outstanding player. Absolutely. I think he’s a level above MGW possibly because he’s a bit quicker.
I agree his speed really helps him and he is a great player. But MGW is more central and doesn't need as much pace but is a real quality player. I would love to see him at Villa

Morgan's close control in tight spaces is something else - and something which you can't easily coach. Despite there being plenty he needs to work on, this kind of ability will always mean he'll be a top player.

He's very quick too.

I'd actually put Bailey's close control and dribbling skills ahead of MGW's, but for everything else I'd take Morgan. Bailey strikes me as a bit peripheral, but as mentioned above MGW is Forest's heartbeat. I wouldn't swap them in a million years, sorry Villa_Fan.

I wasn't really trying to compare Bailey and MGW, they are both excellent players, it was just mentioned in jest. However, I think Bailey is superb at what he does, he is fast and can terrorise a fullback and create and score goals. There are quite a few players like that and are all top dollar and they really add to a team. However, MGW is the type of player that doesn't add to a team, rather he is the type of player u build a team around. That is why I would like him in claret & blue

To be honest I think out of any club I would rather see MGW go to and it’s definitely Villa. Don’t want him to go the the cartel

Different positions though so it's a bit unfair to compare them. Both excellent players in their positions and almost any team is better off by having them.

If we are doing these type of deals I'd rather it be with Villa than anyone else though, I've always liked Villa and see a lot of similarities with us as clubs (partly due to the European cup stuff) so to me it would feel like sending a family member to stay with your favourite aunty and uncle.

Never mind the virtues of MGW and Bailey, has this chap got any potential whatsoever or are we metaphorically swapping bins for inflated costs?
