We tried playing by the rules last year and look where that got us. I’m glad that Newcastle and villa are not selling their best players so as to not upset the tourist clubs. Also Everton should tell Man U to shove their derisory bid for branthwaite up their arse!

I'll caveat the PSR stuff with another point.

Something was asked on here to me approx 6 months ago where I was asked the question, how long do I think it will be before we see Academy products coming through? I said that unfortunately it will at least be another couple of years until we get any fruition from our Cat 1 status.

Looking at the age of a lot of the players, I think there's been a realisation of this from Forest and that our academy is unlikely to produce anything for some time and that there might even be a lack of quality still within that.

It's looking like we're consciously bolstering that area of year 3 production line.
