Joseph Adrian Worrall (The Former Club Captain!)

Motty.

Youth Team
Interesting to think back to the preseason friendly at our place - if I've got the right game Joe and Marinakis looked very warm to each other in a post game chat...

At the time I thought it might represent a shift on the club's stance towards Joe, but given it was apparently decided Joe was of prior to Nuno's arrival I now infer they were probably marking the occasion of it being Joe's last game for us at the City Ground.
Something may have gone off between Coops and Worrall that we're not privy too, but I doubt that there is any animosity between the club as a whole and Joe. I wouldn't be surprised if the club would have been happy for him to stay but be far down the pecking order (4th or 5th choice), which is fair enough, and also fair enough for him to seek out 1st team football. In the words of a certain ex-manager it is what it is. Hope he does really well at Burnley and gets another crack at the Prem. Good luck Joe!

Good luck Joe.

I think that’s a decent signing for Burnley at that price. You can’t have a whole squad of young talent that you want to sell on for profit; you need a bit of experience and stability too. Worrall will be decent for them at a time they are losing a couple of centre halves (one to Strummer’s lot I believe).

Joe second best on the header in the build up to Blackburns equaliser in the Lancashire derby last Saturday.

He pretty much went straight into their side after signing but then got injured. He was back on the bench at the weekend so needs to force his way back into the starting 11.

I have just noticed burnly have conceded only 9 goals in 26 games, with a settled defence like that it's no wonder Joe can't force is way back into a starting place.

Jack Armstrong
He's played three full games, one as a sub. He was out for two months with a broken foot, now he's been riding the bench ever since.
I can't see Burnley holding onto him if they go up, he'll want to play and they'll want to upgrade I bet.

Bin VAR!
Got a mate who watches them - reckons they’ve got about 10 CB’s and joes ok but not standing out vs the rest.

If they get promoted he’ll be on a load more money than he ever earnt at Forest, so don’t be surprised if he stays. 😉

Sauce salad?
I wonder what will happen with him next year, assuming they're promoted. While he has PL experience I can see him wanting more game time than they can offer him.

A Boro type perennial playoff hopeful/failure loan would be my guess, though wonder if he'd fancy a go in the MLS or something similar?
