• All - you probably don't need to be told, but....
Despite the Admins' best efforts some spammers/scammers/scalpers are getting through the entry system and are, astonishingly, in possession of FA Cup tickets that they, astonishingly, don't want!

It's probably a scam, and either way it's a criminal offence under section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, (as amended by the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006) to offer or expose tickets for sale.

Please DO NOT engage with these people - please REPORT any threads/posts offering tickets for sale in case we've not caught them.
    Thanks!

Clearly the only people who can truly answer that would be Joe and Cooper.
But FWII, things had been brewing for a while, and there was tension between the two , Joe was a very strong , active leader of the squad off the field , Chelsea was a chance taken for redemption.
Things turned after Luton at home when the lead was squandered and Cooper publicly berated the lack of physicality in our own box following Joe's part in being unable to prevent one of the goals

Luton was where it went wrong for Cooper and for Joe, and was also the match where we mentally went from midtable likelys to relegation candidates. Our mentality went South that day.

Because it wasn't the norm. We know JW had ability but his weaknesses at this level were too easily exploited.

I agree with @DapperDan, he just isn't strong or quick enough. You can get away with one or the other, but not neither.

But I think his lack of concentration has always been his biggest issue even going back to when he played for Rangers. He just switches off too often.

Totally sums it up why I never rated him.... you can forgive the lack of pace but losing concentration at vital points in games was unforgivable and frequent. I remember he f**ked up at Hillsborough early in his career and nearly cost us a goal and from then I thought he could never really be trusted.

I think the Luton debacle opened a few eyes despite that happening to him quite a few times in his career when he came up against decent sized units.

Ive always been convinced as he got older and filled out abit his strength in physical battles would become a real asset of his but that strength never seemed to come.

I think he's found his level in the championship where mistakes aren't always punished

I will say i genuinely hope he does well, he just never kicked on at the next level like his mate Ryan did.

Shame we kind of out grew him.

No winners in the red corner that day.
Our own entitled fans - "we"- refusing to see Luton were in the league on merit and proving to becapable of scrapping for points, contributed to that regrettable downward trend
(See also the reverse fixture later that season)
We're much better -"we" - fans, players and coahing team , when we're punching up.

sad to see one of our own leave, he was our captain for a while which we can’t forget.

Got us through some tough times and gave us unforgettable memories.

He might not of been the best but he always gave his all and some performances were outstanding.

We might of outgrown him as a club but as he has said he will always be part of our club.

Thanks for the memory’s Joe and see you back at the CG next season!

These types of players, these stories are what I believe makes a club what it is.

Enjoy Yates while he’s here because he’s the last genuine part of the squad who will bring this kind of emotion. It’s the part of our soul we sold when returning to the Premier League.

We now watch a more technically advanced set of players, purchased for unworldly sums of money, but none of them truly care for Nottingham Forest the way Joe did.

There’s not many clubs who’ll have a player like Joe who cries with emotion on the Wembley pitch. Who without prompt, speaks the words every fan is thinking about our promotion. Cracks out the ‘94/95 kit in celebrating, which is the last year we all really reminisce about. Truely one of our own, and we probably won’t have another for a decade.

All the best Joe.

I will always hold fond memories of Joe Worrall who played a key role in our success and promotion back to the top flight.

No player is perfect and it’s been well documented that he’s had personal trauma and went through a torrid time behind the scenes last season.

He will always be a Forest legend for me and he will be welcomed back to the City Ground which has been his home since he was a young lad.

Thank you for your service and best of luck at Burnley. Xxx

Sauce salad?
Interesting to think back to the preseason friendly at our place - if I've got the right game Joe and Marinakis looked very warm to each other in a post game chat...

At the time I thought it might represent a shift on the club's stance towards Joe, but given it was apparently decided Joe was of prior to Nuno's arrival I now infer they were probably marking the occasion of it being Joe's last game for us at the City Ground.
