He was on fire at 1. FC Köln, less so at Hertha Berlin (but then, Hertha have been a dumpster-fire for years, culminating in them getting relegated last season).

Reads like Palace are the PL team with the stronger interest, so how genuine our link is remains to be seen. Also practically issues with getting a loan deal sorted from Russian football.

BJ sale will help FFP a lot, whichever year's cycle it falls in so let's not try to play the good student and cripple ourselves in this window if the right players become available.

Hope the club has some idea of what the punishment is likely to be because if we get hit by a big points deduction later on we'd be wishing we should have gone for some desperately required quality cover.

There is no guarantee Awoniyi won't suffer another injury and who knows whether Elanga will carry on where he left off, 2 of the most important players in the remainder of the season.
