I'm sure it can be said about most (if not all) players, but when Collison was firing on all cylinders he was very close to the standard Lansbury/Vaughn play at. Biscuity or not, if the wages aren't astronomical then I think he's worth a shot on a free - he's only 25 as well.

Still a free agent. Reckon it would make a lot of sense to bring him in on a short term deal, given we suddenly look pretty short in the centre of midfield.

Problem is that he is another good player who has a lot of injuries. We can't be in a position where our injury situation defines our season. Injury record is just as vital as ability at the moment.

If it was just an individual deal I would agree with you but in the context of our squad no. Otherwise we will end up like last season again with the season being ruined by injury. We need players like Mancienne who are quality and available every week. Although I accept that is easier said than done.

If he was to sign a deal which was mainly appearance based it might be a good signing. With him not having a club he might go for that.
