Giulian Biancone

I do remember him coming on away against Man City last season. Every Forest player had been like a deer in the headlights, but he came on and actually got his head up when he had the ball and actually looked for a Forest player. It was enough to suggest for me that there could be a decent player in there, so will be interesting to see how he develops now he is getting back to fitness.
Isnt that the game where he tried to control it and kicked it half the length of the field out of touch?!

‘‘Twas still better than Dennis.

I like Biancone from what limited footage I’ve seen but I did piss myself at that effort. It was pretty much his first touch too I reckon.
Diakhabie-esque in its execution.
Is Biancone still on Forest's books?
If he was a horse, they'd have dosed him up with ketamine already.

Wasn't even named on the bench though...and they named 12 subs.

This unused sub caught my eye.

No, he's here on a perm. He will probably leave in the summer though. Very likeable fellow: despite the fact that he was relegated to the second team, and despite the fact he knows he's leaving in the summer, he was always the first to celebrate any win like he was a former academy player or something.

He was likewise always a good lad in his time with us. Best of luck to him

In one of the most improbable comebacks, Giulian Biancone will almost certainly stay here for at least another year. Although tactically he's not exactly world-class, he's proven very useful with his speed, passion, ability with the ball on his feet and, perhaps most importantly, his joie de vivre, always the first to celebrate, to laugh, to start a brawl. He must really be someone his teammates like, and this counts a lot for managers.

Feels a lifetime ago when we saw him run out in the summer sunshine for Forest at the Pirelli stadium (July 20th 2022). What a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then. ACLs, Jesse's Tik Toks, Omar's botched medical, the rise and fall of Lewis O'Brien. Waca Waca. I could go on, but I won't.
