I’ve been to one game in Germany and very much recommend it.
Beers good, transport to the game included in the ticket, nice orderly exit afterwards. What’s not to like?!

I can confirm there is running water and plentiful paper towels at the stadium of my local side. The running water.
They’ll be needing 3 hours at the bar once they get a taste of championship football for a few yearsI had a gander on the Everton forum and was reading a thread on their proposed new stadium.
They’ve started selling packages for different season ticket options. Looks like the patrons will be paying through the nose for the upgrade from Goodison. They expect ST’s to start at £800 for adults and they seem to be aiming for extensive corporate packages ranging from £4.5-7.5k a season with a commitment for 3 years.
For that they get access to the bar for 3 hours pre match and then again at half time ( any drinks post game they have to pay for. )
Depending on which package they either get a food voucher or a 3 course meal.
Either way we need to expect a major hike in prices when we do upgrade our facilities.
I am glad you enjoyed it Josh!Just want to say a massive thanks to Strummer for recommending a lot of places in Koln to visit. We ended up on this stag do with Borussia Monchengladbach vs RB Leipzig and it was absolutely incredible. The Germans are on another level for their passion and support which is totally different to what we have here in England. The beer, food and culture is fantastic. I would reccommend anyone who is possibly thinking about it, just jump and go for it. The 14 of us who traveled to watch "Die Fohlen" are now fans for life. We're going back again to watch Monchengladbach vs Wolfsburg in November. Some pics from when we were there. Again, thanks Strummer for the recommendations!
Typically 5/6 weeks ahead - but of course it’s going to be either Friday, Saturday or Sunday, either way.How far in advance do games get changed for TV? Looking at going to Koln Vs Freiburg in May
The Dom is right across the street from the Köln central station, which itself was heavily bombed. Can’t see picture of the cathedral without being reminded of a comment one of my old American colleagues made to me whilst on a tour of kolns breweries / bars “how the F*** did we miss that!“
It is very impressive.
Glad you enjoyed it josh - Germans do football, beer and food very well.
By the way, the banner says:
Any pictures of the bait you had Josh ?
Cheers Chris. I have to say that restaurant was incredible. Great service and food outside the touristic trap areaI am glad you enjoyed it Josh!
Some cracking photos, and yes, I recognise a few of those places!
