We have a lot of work to do over the summer. We have plenty dead ‘Wood’ to get rid of and we probably need to work to retain, replace and strengthen across the board.
However, we’re in a far stronger position than this time last season and with a good foundation and intelligent investment who knows what we can achieve.

Somewhat controversially I'm hoping that if we were to qualify for Europe it'd be CL only as EM would undoubtedly fund the necessary investment for that, but the other European trophies are second rate and just a drain on resources - we don't have a squad to manage midweek european games and you can see the effect it has had on clubs that have to play them and try and remain in contention in the PL.

judging by the big man’s celebrations when Olympiakos won the Conference League, I’d say we’d go full pelt at any European Competition and the investment would match that.
