I really didn't rate Mintah against Man Utd - really quick but kept making the wrong decision - I am sure that will improve - but he reminded me of Franz Carr
The Brighton fans didn’t, they are spitting feathers that Andriga is on the bench.

Point is more - Silva clearly isn’t ready as he has barely featured. Agree with Pete that he looks like relief for everyone across the line.

Sosa may also need time. Not saying this kid is the right answer but I am adamant we need another winger who is good to go. Lyon is a big step up from both their respective clubs

I had him on FM24 and he was decent but to be fair that was in the Greek league.

At risk of disagreeing with something I half agree with he got 9 g/a in 22 games last season as a right winger. Not far off his regular stats in that position.
I just don't see the need to buy another winger when we have 4 already, unless one is leaving. We need to keep our powder dry for signings we actually need. Plenty of overseas forwards have come here with decent stats and been absolute dog shit. Apart from when at Napoli Silenzi had a decent stats, we know how that worked out.

I am not disagreeing with you at all.
I just thought that holding Mintah up as an example was not right at the moment
Apparently, we nearly signed him in a double deal with Anderson - it will be interesting to see how that turns out - Brighton don't appear to get many wrong.

I understand that take, though like I said I'm assuming it's because Jota Silva isn't a winger for us - my guess is he's MGW backup.

So we shouldn't look at stats now? As well as the league/team/country they come from? We're running out of options here!

Completely fair comment - I guess I was referencing more the profile, young, raw (likely inconsistent), massive potential.

We either need top draw winger or someone like that who may come in and it wouldn’t unsettle the current two but add an option whilst they develop

You'd think it seems pretty likely he'd go there given the owners connection to both.

Nottingham's dirty secret
So........is he a striker? And if not.....can he play as one?

And if not.,.......is Jota gonna be our goal getter?

I have literally no idea about him
