Sounds like he really wants to stamp his name into a large portion of our history because if we do get a new stadium (regardless of location) it’ll be credited to him. I like the ambition(TM) he has but it’s going to be rough seas ahead for the shipping magnet if we move to I guess Toton or somewhere similar. We’ll see what happens but 10m for the freehold is a damn no-brainer.

Forgot about the Neville quotes because the part about the new stadium just overshadowed everything else in the piece.

As an Irishman i feel out of place when discussing the finer details of a potential move so i rely on keeping up to date with the locals posting on here every day, i had no idea where the hell Toton was until i looked it up. But even a quick glance and seeing how close to Derbyshire it is left me a bit speechless.

I regularly made the short trip over since the 80s but i haven't had a hope of getting a ticket since our promotion and to be honest i don't have a problem with that as long as the club i love plays at the City Ground. I'm sure i could get to more games if we played in some new designer bowl but i cannot even stomach that idea of not being by the Trent pre game. And if i feel that as an outsider, i can't imagine what the locals feel.

Every 10 years there was always a silly discussion about a possible move, but i can't remember it being this serious, or feeling like its the end of the identity of the club.

This f***ing season has been filled with nothing but hell on and off the pitch.
