Does anyone remember League 1 Derby County? (STILL the worst team in history!)

He’s only really much use if you have a massive cup of tea you want to dunk something in
I agree, however if he played only 20 games next season for Derby he'd be a very key player. This is a massive blow for them as he genuinely is a really good player, just made of playdoh.

Please please tell me how you get perspective on it. I can never do it proplerly.

In Photoshop? OK this is how you do it in CC, I'd assume it's the same for other versions:

First (obviously) select your layer, then from the menu bar go to Edit > Transform > Perspective

Vertical.jpg

Then using the 8 control points you see around the edges of the layer you can adjust the perspective;

Clicking and holding on the right hand point and then moving the cursor up or down will move that side of the layer up or down relative to the other side:

Vertical 2.jpg

Similarly for the top and bottom points, click and hold then move the most left or right to move that side of the layer left or right relative to the other side:

Horizontal.jpg

And using the corner points will extend or shrink that side of the layer relative to the corners on the other side. Eg. using the bottom right corner point and dragging it down will stretch that corner down and it's opposite corner on the top right up (dragging up would shrink both corners):

Both 2.jpg

Likewise using the same bottom right corner and dragging left will shrink that side (dragging right would extend it):

Both 1.jpg

Hope that helps!

You know I bet when filming that scene Philip Madoc never thought it would end up being used on a football forum to explain how to adjust perspective in a computer Art program some fifty years later! 😂
But that it has, ensures it’s legendary status.

I actually took the piss the other day. He made one those kind of comments you'd associate with most of their head in sand lot. No idea who he was until someone pointed out here he's really struggling. I'd never dream of piss taking a fella that needs serious support...and that lot just continue..nasty f***ers in derby

So a week has gone by since Kirshner's deal collapsed.

You'd think if there are others "waiting in the wings" for exactly this eventuality, they'd have their fair and final bids in within minutes.

A week. Nothing.

Any number of people may express a serious interest in buying Derby County.

They can even arrange funding.

The problem comes when they are finally given the books (the ones they won't show the EFL) and find that they want to buy a club with no players, no stadium and an HMRC debt of £35m that HMRC will simply not give way on unless it is for a payment plan with payment in full.

At that point every single investor decides they are better putting their money on a three legged donkey in the 3.30 hurdle race at Worcester and walk away leaving the prospective buyer with no funding.

That's why there's nothing. Quantuma are busy reading emails which say 'Are you taking the piss?'

I think its ridiculous and have since the beginning of this whole damn thing, that they have been given so much damn time to get a buyer and get their things in order.

Bury, Bolton, etc sure the hell didn't get the same allowances.

There is the argument that the EFL are giving Derby lots of chances because they got criticised for not doing that for Bury in particular.

A preseason friendly against their local rivals across the county lines could really help boost their coffers in their time of need. 2 local clubs of similar statute should look to support each other in their time of need. Football can change quickly and it could well be roles reversed in a few years.

Not sure if Notts have already sorted their schedule out though...

The only thing missing from this saga is Bassini turning up with a suitcase full of cash
Or Gazza turning up with a four-pack of Stella and a roast chicken.

There is a slight difference in that Bury didn’t enter into Admin they just ran out of money and they didn’t even start the season.

Derby did start the season and then entered admin so is was within the EFL’s interest to allow the club to finish the season to maintain the competitions integrity.

Saying that however I would be surprised if they let them start next season in this state with no owner or Financial backer and their fixtures will be “suspended” like Bury’s were for a few weeks.
