We Americans love rules. For the appearance of rules. We also love exceptions for the privileged. But we typically don't like the appearance of those exceptions. Hurts our ability to be high and mighty. Mind, it doesn't stop our high and mightiness.
After 12 years of running a company in the US I became well acquainted with the way these things work over there.

Unfortunately Ross doesn’t know how to dial an international number. I heard he’s preparing a telex
You might joke but it reminds me of a company I worked for who were still using fax machines in 2018, when I decided it was time to resign.

The owner was such a stubborn traditionalist he couldn't get his head around any new age technology and my goodness did many of us try to tell him.

He could send an email but that's about it. The company went into administration in 2019. When I resigned he told me "You're making the right decision."

I heard that he's still performing his most alluring lap-dancing routine for Sangare - whom he's got duct taped to a chair in Eindhoven.

It's been 2 days - the poor bastard's bound to sign soon.

I'm beginning to think we need to employ Tony Montana in Ross Wilson's role.

Ok, Dean Henderson has signed.

And if that doesn't convince him, we'll bring out Jonjo and his highlights DVD...

Doubt we're including Horvath in the deal if the deadline is tonight and he's playing for us Vs Rennes.
Could stick around as third choice, I’d probably choose him over Hennessy, although he did seem to have Champ clubs linked.

As for Petrovic, having found out that Ross tried to sign him for Rangers, I see this move happening tbh.

Presume this isn't happening now, as their transfer window shuts in a few hours so they won't have time to bring in a replacement.

Another one bites the dust...

Hope he's remembered to change the letterhead otherwise he might be turning up for Rangers in a few weeks time.

He’s considering it, but there are a number of fonts he’s interested in before he can start thinking about changing it.

This one could still happen. Send them Horvath on a freebie.

Was thinking that. Presumably if we paid off Horvath they could pick him up even though their window is closed?

Problem might be Horvaths wages though. Lots of sources seem to indicate that he’s on a pretty good wedge. MLS has got all those weird rules about contracts. If Horvath is on say 25k a week, wouldn’t that make him close to being a designated player in MLS?
