Appreciate the sarcasm but it wasn’t advice or instruction. I just found it odd to see some one actively choosing to read something they are bored with. I’d have thought if it’s not for you then the logical thing is to move on?

None of us know exactly what goes on behind the scenes and just use the evidence and snippets of information we get given. Based on what we know, we were sleepwalking into the new season before Syrianos came in and then we started being much more active, both in and out once he came back. Quite straightforward really.

Unless Ross started doubling his efforts once he realised someone was on his case I don't see any other explanation.
Personally I don't think it's as clear cut as that.

You could look at the circumstances and also argue that Ross Wilson's role was to bring in the targets we were after for a certain price, which would involve longer negotiations resulting in transfers occurring closer to the end of the window. Syrianos was brought in to identify additional targets should our primary targets choose other clubs/become no longer available so we need to move on. The employing of Syrianos inherently put pressure on selling clubs as we were then actively looking at alternatives. I don't think Syrianos came in and all of a sudden deals were done because of him, however I do think bringing him in helped Ross Wilson do his job better, but Ross Wilson may have brought in everyone we did anyway regardless of Syrianos' employment (which we'll never know).

Now this could also be bollocks, but I think it just highlights that you can look at action X outcome Y and think they must be directly linked when it might not actually be the case

Got to feel for him as he conducted himself brilliantly here last season however I'm glad this is a palace problem and not a forest one

One thing is for sure, if we had have signed Henderson we'd have been alot higher up the league than we are now.
