Turner's distribution is much better than Henderson's. Solid shit stopper and commanded his box well in recent games. Seems a likable character too. Gave a Benfica supporter a lift yesterday and asked him about Vlachodimos. I told him Benfica supporters had been posting on a forest forum about how shit he is. He said Benfica selling him was a big mistake, he's a solid keeper and only sold due to the fall out with the manager. Think we've got 2 solid keepers now of a similar level , competition, which is what's needed in the prem. You can't get away with a poor second keeper.

Still, they're not Brice though are they. f*** I miss Brice, so bad. I loved the big mental lovable bastard

Lodi barely had any attacking threat. He may appear to have more attacking threat than Aina but that's only because he's a left footer so was out wide more often for an outball than Aina who tends to drift inside on his favoured right foot. In terms of end product in the final third Lodi barely had much.

Both are very good defensively, neither are good going forward like you'd expect from a modern day full back/wing back.

Aina is for me the better player. I can't believe we got him for free.

I don't understand why people get so confused with Lodi. He was never as bad as people said at the beginning and never as good as people said at the end.
He performed quite nicely and had a decent blend of defensive capability and attacking threat.

I've seen almost the same type of displays from Aina already which is great and i'd put them on a par. Over the next few weeks I'm sure we'll see Aina (and equally Lodi if he was still here) start moving up the pitch with greater frequency, as we did against Burnley, and then we'll really see how good he is. Aina and CHO could make a formidable partnership if Aina stays on the left.

I'd like to see how comfortable Aina was bombing on if he was played on the right hand side regularly.

I'm not going to expect much attacking output from him if he's cutting inside from the left, and running into space taken by someone like Mangala or Yates.

I wonder if injuries such as a muscle detachment are more problematic for goalkeepers, given they can go through large periods of play with very little to do? Much more likely to suffer a reoccurrence when 'cold' and more likely to get that way in game? Guessing!
It has happened both times through kicking the ball long so I wouldn’t be surprised if there is either an underlying issue/weakness (obviously will be after the first occurrence) or more likely an issue with technique

He left Kyle Walker of all people for dead at one point on Saturday.

None of us know exactly what goes on behind the scenes and just use the evidence and snippets of information we get given. Based on what we know, we were sleepwalking into the new season before Syrianos came in and then we started being much more active, both in and out once he came back. Quite straightforward really.

Unless Ross started doubling his efforts once he realised someone was on his case I don't see any other explanation.
I think it's because we were giving Ross the wrong ice cream and it was only when stocks of Cherry vanilla were run down and we were able to buy Pistachio that he was able to move on from sorting out major back of house issues like addressing the medical and fitness staff to addressing new players.

Of course, it could be that he was busy dealing with a lot of things and that like a lot of other clubs the transfer deals only started to drop in the last weeks of the window.

But I think it was the ice cream. It's the only logical explaination.

I am certain any ‘glee’ is that Forest are learning from mistakes and managing to form a functioning transfer strategy, whilst not being bullied.

As for the debate you don’t have to read a thread?
