I'd quite like Chris Hughton at Forest as manager, but seeing as he is employed by another club, in a higher league - it seems like a moot point?

Chris Hughton is shit.. I'm not a BD fan but just the thought of Hughton has suddenly eased the pain of having the little scottish troll as a manager. I think most Norwich fans would love us to have Hughton and that was even last year, his style of football is dire by all accounts..

What a surprise that porks wants a manager who's 'a decent guy', 'a gentleman' and so would be nice to his media friends. Personally I'd place those things are way down the list of important qualities for a football manager.

Norwich have spent 14 million on strikers and they've managed 6 shots on target between them...bring on Hughton.

Porks is using his media connections to keep the thread alive. Gary is on his payroll.

It simply must be seen.

Would you put stuff like 'proven track record' and 'develops youth' and 'knows the division inside out' higher? Oh wait...

Might as well say Colin Calderwood:

Has a strong record of developing young players, bringing McGugan, Bastians and Perch through the Forest set up.

Experience of winning promotion from a tough league, finishing narrow runners up to Swansea, eclipsing sides like Leeds and Brighton to the automatic spot.

Solid reputation as a coach and assistant manager, including number 2 to the supreme Hughton at Newcastle.

Thoroughly nice guy.

You can write stuff to make anyone look decent. Doesn't mean they are. If you're going to speculate idly about the fate of our incumbent manager, then at least suggest Malky Mackay, who'll be out of a job soon and is a darn sight more inspiring. But I'm quite happy with Billy, thanks.
