Like Neco, and it will be interesting to see how his career progresses and what ends up being his best position. But I don't think he'll be ready to be a first choice LB or LWB next season (even if that does eventually become his best role).

As for Omar Richards, after a year out I doubt he'll be ready for Premier League football anytime soon (if he ever actually plays for us at all).

We can't afford to "make do" or do things on the cheap when it comes to the starting XI in the Premier League. The LB/LWB position needs filling with quality, and that's going to cost big money. Any weaknesses in our starting XI will be ruthlessly exploited every week in the Premier League.

100% agree

He's definitely better on the left as opposed to the right.

He could actually be the answer to our LB issue. With Omar and Harry as back ups maybe it's not an area that we need to be spending 20m plus on?
Regardless of whether he is better on the left or the right all you are doing is shifting the gap.

Aurier is in his 30s, picking up nightly injuries and If we want to play wing backs probably isn’t the answer.

If you shift Williams to the 1st choice left side you need to get in a RWB for well probably 20m

Agreed. We are going to have to spend big money to fill a full back/wing back position regardless of what we decide to do with Williams. There's no avoiding it.

Probably more choice at RWB though: Walker Peters, Justin, Livramento, maybe even the likes of Lamptey or Cash depending on what their clubs do this summer.

Personally I’d love to see Tino Livramento in the garibaldi.

Max Aarons, Djed Spence and Brandon Williams could all be decent options too.

Ryan Sessegnon was rumoured. Plays LB & LM - could he play LWB?

Barely featured for Spurs this season, I think he played under Cooper also.
He looked brilliant for Fulham prior to joining Spurs.

What happened? Was he Djed Spence'd by Spurs, or had injury problems?

One of those signings that would be a gamble, but if it pays off...

Think his twin brother did in the u17s team.
Yes, Steven Sessegnon was part of the U17 World Cup winning team. Ryan also played for the U17s for a short period around the time Cooper managed them, but quickly outgrew them (only playing 5 games before graduating to the U19s and then U21s). Cooper may know of him and have kept tabs on his progress though.

Livramento looked amazing but has been very broken since that first spell

The player's wishes will still be the deciding factor, so I don't think this changes much for us IMO. If he wants to go to Inter Milan, he'll still go to Inter Milan.
