The Brazilian Pele is even now a better footballer than his namesake we had here a few years back. Although he never did it on a wet Wednesday night in Luton. It’s just like watching Brazil!

I actually think we would be competitive when it comes to wages, which is pretty mental to say.How wages compare? I guess juventus and inter can still pay more?
More chance of Augustus Gloop (that will test the cutural awareness of some on here )
Yeah, the Premier League is the proving ground. Sure, he might play in Europe, but this way he gets to play most of those teams anyway. Plus, if he does decide to leave he’s going to earn way more as a potential top 4 player in England, than transitioning from Europe e.g Brighton valuations. Some players are desperate to play in the premier league though. So I guess if he is that way inclined we may have a small chance.
Champions league football is the killer. If it’s money, we would win. That said, that probably sends the wrong message if someone took money over CL football....Will be difficult to persuade him to come to come to us if Inter Milan and Juventus are in for him. As strong as the pull as the Premier League is, those two are amongst the clubs who could be considered amongst football royalty and in Inter's case they can offer Champions League football.
Yeah, pretty sure we can compete with (or offer more than) most clubs in Europe (besides your super-rich like PSG and Real Madrid) financially.Champions league football is the killer. Slightly controversial take, but Neco really could play LBW I think. Cooper has plugged him in on that side. Not saying I automatically would, not at all. But he could. That should factor into what we are doing IMO. Ploughing 20mil into another WB is a rich strategy, thus Augusto being looked at IMO.Yeah, pretty sure we can compete with (or offer more than) most clubs in Europe (besides your super-rich like PSG and Real Madrid) financially.
Inter Milan will have CL football, decent chance of silverware and the prestige of playing for a club of that size. If its between Inter and us, I'd probably make them favourites.
I'm sure we will have other options if Lodi and Augusto go elsewhere. Just part of the territory of competing for good players really.
Monza has your old acquaintance François Modesto as DoF.

I have always thought so as well. No idea why but he always seems to defend better on the left.I agree. Not saying he is the answer but in my humble opinion I think he actually plays better on the left than he does on the right.
He has played on the left numerous times for Wales.

Great minds.I have always thought so as well. No idea why but he always seems to defend better on the left.
I wonder as his career progresses and more teams do it I wonder if we will see him doing a Zinchenko / Cancelo type role where he drops into midfield. I think that could suit his skillset. You obviously need a big footballing brain for it to work though.
