By his own account his form dipped because he struggled with concentration without fans.

He is definitely one that misses them the most I reckon, he would bounce of crowds whether it's the Forest fans or the opposition fans, you can see he loved the interactions.

Well capable in this 2cnd division.

You don't need to be a sky sports subscriber to see the crowd is a clear motivator for Samba. He's a showman, in the best sense of the word.

Plus this statistic doesn't take into account his other major strength which is his ability with the ball at his feet, he must be one of the best in the country, including the EPL teams.

Forgot to say it was another mistake by Brice on weekend. Ever since we came back from lockdown he seems to make some mistakes. He not a bad keeper but I think he is overrated by us. He’s not a prem starter standard yet I feel. Some keepers are better than him in the champ.

Might have done better but I thought he did quite well to get down to it considering he'd just got off the floor.

Should probably stop letting teams have have clear shots from the middle of our penalty area, especially with so many men back.

Forgot to say it was another mistake by Brice on weekend. Ever since we came back from lockdown he seems to make some mistakes. He not a bad keeper but I think he is overrated by us. He’s not a prem starter standard yet I feel. Some keepers are better than him in the champ.

Bore off mate, he did nothing wrong. At least wait for him to actually make mistakes before you are jumping down his neck.

By far the best you can get at this level, sooner people realise that the better

That last save was terrible and he beat the ball out in the path of an attacker. He’s decent but deffo overrated by some reds.

f***ing 3 players in his eyeline, hes off balance trying to see the ball - it is thumped at him from 10 yards out and still managed to get his hand on it.

Should have done better

By the way - all of that is seconds after he makes a great save to deny them originally.

I think he's a good keeper, but yeah you've a point.

Least of our worries at the mo, but Prem-starter-standard isn't a level I'd have him at either.

No way are we getting any better anytime soon though.

There is absolutely no way that goal can be blamed on Brice Samba.

He is virtually unsighted, his defence has backed off and is sat camped in their own six-yard box, and yet he still somehow gets a hand to it.

Anyone blaming the goalie for that concession needs to give their head a wobble.

He's a good keeper with excellent distribution, but folk don't half get f***ing sniffy when someone questions him.

Yeah. Just rewatched it several times and it's a good save for the header, a decent hit back in for the blocked shot, but the goal looks slow-mo by comparison. Granted he's unsighted, but I'd expect a top Champ keeper (as a lot often claim he is) to get that still.

That save from Beasant against Brum one example which springs to mind of top keeperage. I think Brice is good, but overrated. But also someone we'd likely take forever to replace.

Cafu got bullied a bit to easily for the header too.

I remember Cloughie bringing a very strong Forest team for a friendly in Belfast against Crusaders in the late 80s early 90s. From memory it was a Thursday night and I'm sure we had half a squad of first teamers. Pretty sure we'd a league game two days later too. Big Norm was in goal anyway and his interaction with the crowd was brilliant, constant banter. Crowd really took to him too.

Yeah. Just rewatched it several times and it's a good save for the header, a decent hit back in for the blocked shot, but the goal looks slow-mo by comparison. Granted he's unsighted, but I'd expect a top Champ keeper (as a lot often claim he is) to get that still.

I agree completely with that, I dont want him replaced or anything I just say hes a tad overrated. Least of our worries at the moment.

Actually, looking at that picture, agreeing that it is only a still, makes you wonder why there are so many unmarked Cov players in the box.
