Usually dodgy twitter accounts reporting we’ve had a £2m bid accepted for the donny midfielder

If true, that'd be swift movement for the right type of player. Captain there at only 23, would be sweet to have some young leadership here in the middle.
Would be very encouraging.
Think Derby were in for him in Jan? So nabbing him may piss them off too. Bonus.
Replacement for Watson?
We'd be disappointed if he didn't have the ambition to test himself at a higher level as I'm sure most of us believe he's good enough to make a big mark at Championship level and, is definitely captain material at whichever club he chooses.
I would tout him as the best technical midfielder in the division with a price tag of 6 Million
Ben is no run-of-the-mill league one player, he’s a master of the position he plays. Is there anyone better in league 1? But, not only that, he’s our captain and leader and, like Copps, someone who the other players look up to. Take him out of the equation and we’re asking DM to perform wonders again, before we’ve even kicked a ball!
Too good to be true. "No significant weaknesses"!
Is there another Ben Whiteman in hospital somewhere with a broken ankle who we fancy?
Got a Team of the Season in Fifa so must be good.
He's a brill player. Composed, really good technique, good size too. Has a touch of Kevin McDonald about him. I like him.
The validity of those rumours from looking at twitter don't seem all that great.
I'd e really happy with him, he just doesn't have the feel of someone we'd go for.
Don't worry we can change that.![]()

Transfermarkt lists him as not missing a game through injury so far in his career also.
More chance of Ben Whitlingham
