I was so hopefully last night. Thought the queuing system worked well, told u exactly how long you were going to have to wait and how many were in front of you. But then once on site-it was frustrating as u could see some tickets were available but like people have commented and screen shot u couldn’t put them in basket. I suppose tickets were popping in and out baskets with then hundreds trying to quickly add them. Tv for me on Sunday.

Got in at 5 past after queuing for 10 minutes and there were about 50 tickets available (all singles).

After choosing a few different options and them not being available, I realised they were going quickly so just started clicking on every blue dot I could see….

Got one in Trent End upper in the end, T4.

I reckon they were all gone by about 14 past.

Had all the same frustrations as others after queuing to get in about 5 past, clicking on blue dots and not being able to add them. Was just about to give up when it timed me out; I logged back in and there was a lot more ‘available’ and managed to add the third one I clicked. I guess a load of people timed out at the same point so all the tickets were released, as this was about 20 past.

Allot of people are seething on twitter about tickets. Well unfortunately there's isn't much the club can do, we have around the 20k season ticket holders, 4.5k away fans, leaving around 4.5k tickets for general admission.

The only people I feel sorry for are the ones who have been to allot of home games this season and/or all the other fa cup games.

Unfortunately though there was always going to be allot of upset people.

It was always going to happen.

The demand for tickets for such an occasion was always going to exceed availability.

For those who were unlucky there are still tickets available for tomorrows game against QPR instead. :)

I was straight in at midnight, I'd say there were hundreds left at that point (certainly not thousands !)

I clicked in at midnight and was 1,890 in the queue, finally was let in to click on blue dots at about 00:16 and after an hour and a half of endless whack-a-mole it was all over (but like watching Forest for the past 25 years).

I was on at midnight and a few doubles were on but I could only add one, the next couldn't be added to basket. Did the daft thing and removed the first one from basket only for everything else to go, should have left it and hoped the other cancelled.

Oh well, looks like a Sunday of F1 and FA cup on TV, my penance for not renewing.

Whoever got tickets, you better be loud.

This all takes me back to the days of getting tickets back in the late 1970s Glory Years.

Those folk that didn't have season tickets would have to collect tokens printed in the match day programmes. Then spend an hour or three queueing to collect tickets from the City Ground.

I was lucky to have a season ticket for all those big games. As for the cup games the tickets would arrive through the post.

Happy Days.

Add this to the fact we're selling out against teams near the bottom of the 2nd tier and I can't help thinking that 35k isn't going to be anywhere near big enough should we reach the Prem

You'll have the casual Forest fans who climb out of the woodwork, the obscene amount of glory boys wanting to watch the top teams, the increased number of away fans and all of the students and visitors who just want to watch a Premier League football match.

Nice problem to have if we ever get there mind you....

I'm a season ticket holder who hasn't gone to any of the cup games but have a ticket for this one.

I think the club could have been more sensible about this. Those people who aren't season ticket holders but who have been to every cup game should have been allowed to book first in non-ST holding seats. There's probably only a couple of thousands who meet that criteria. Could maybe do those who have gone to 2/3 cup games but aren't season ticket holders.

Shouldn't have just gone to season ticket holders then general sale. Feel really bad for the fans who been to previous ones and wanred to go to this one but have missed out.

I would agree to that had we not played Arsenal and Leics. Those 2 games were massive especially for the non ST holders.

If we played Accrington in front of 4k then those fans deserve the chance to watch us Vs Liverpool.

Home memberships got in after season ticket holders but before general sale, so probably a lot less than 4,500 available last night.

I didn’t bother trying in the end - I wanted to take the kids and knew I had no chance of 3

There were 9000 forest supporters at the Bradford cup game in August.

THEY should have had higher priority than those at any other cup game.

We have about 24k tickets for this one, when in the league it is about 27k, so some regulars were bound to miss out but some loyalty points system so regular non ST holders at least got a slot would have been fair. Pissing off people who would be there if we became shit again isn't very clever I don't think.

Yep, I think the club need to review plans.

If planning permission isn't granted soon, I suspect the club will be looking at alternative options as the current setup isn't fit for purpose.

No matter what system they did people would get pissed off, I bet they're would be fans who missed out even if they put a 10 game minimum cap on.

As someone else alluded, with the home membership there was probably only around the 2k mark available for general sale so thousands were going to miss out.

Probably so but the club should still have done something similar to the cap you put forward. Day trippers shouldn't get the same crack as a supporter who has been going to the matches on a regular basis.

This. Having been to all the cup games, glad I didn't get worked but there are many people who have, and I feel for them. Would love to guarantee you that I'm going to help take the roof off, but I'm in BC upper, and it's likely that I'd get shushed like I'm in a library :D

Personally I'd have gone with 10 home games and 12 home and away games get priority (we've had 23 home games and 17 away). Then slowly decrease the number needed by 2. The only issue is the time required to do that.

In the lower BC, we get deafened by the sound of the Upper tier sukin and gronching on those Werther's Originals.
Keep it down please... some of us are trying to sleep.

Would have thought that was easy to do with the online tickets. You could do points on how many bookings this season a person had, say the FA cup ties count as 2 points and any other game one then do two hour windows as the points come down, run it over 2 days 8am -8pm

Can you imagine the scramble for Wembley tickets if we somehow manage to win on Sunday?

Looking at previous years, we would be allocated around 28k tickets.
