Mighten has all the parts to make a top forward but his decision making is still under developed.

It's exciting to watch him with the ball. But also disappointing to see him run into a cul-de-sac time and time again.
That’s what the Head Coach is there for-to maximise the potential of each player.I don’t reckon Robbo,
O’Neill,Anderson and most of the rest would have hit the heights they did without Brian Clough.

I think we have to remember that not all Prem defenders are going to be 75 million pound men.

Our attackers will get their chances. I'll bet that most Prem teams will be targeting us for three points, so will attack more than they usually do, leaving gaps at the back. Meat and drink for our powerful goal scoring strikers.

Entirely different story imho.

None of them had 10 years of youth development.

I don't have a problem with Mighten, BTW, but he has to improve his impact on games. Of course coaches will help him, but he has to take responsibility for it.

I didn’t see the Barnsley game so can’t comment, but all the analysis reports on Awoniyi did state that be has a bit of an unorthodox, almost clumsy style, so no surprise that he hasn’t passed the “eye test” with some.

Hopefully it just takes players like this a little longer to get into his stride. At least he’ll have had the whole pre-season under his belt by the time the real action starts.
