Yates in the Fjord

I'd say development wise, we'll see a fair few of these go out on loan next season (really looking forward to Zach getting a decent move).

Don't you think we'll need to keep some of them around, as part of the European squad? We need 3 of them to go along with Yatesy. I would guess Abbott and 2 of the other lads probably will be kept for that purpose, at least in the first part of the season.

That Man U side had a few in. Mainoo and Garnacho have played first team, but theres also Omari Forson who has a few appearances.

The Forest side last night had a fair few of our FAYC side in, Perkins, Thompson, Nadin and Gardner all started (they were on the bench in the FAYC), and Abbott, McAdam, Hammond, Powell started again.
Jamie McDonnell has had a decent season on loan at Colchester, finished in the L2 team of the season, and Dale Taylor has had a solid season at Wigan, but, I'd say development wise, we'll see a fair few of these go out on loan next season (really looking forward to Zach getting a decent move).
Thanks for the update.

Well done to the youngsters !

It was a good game, but they really should have won it in 90 mins.

The Bilbao side in the semi final were mostly huge lads, but a couple of the Lyon players last night looked like they'd have trouble remaining upright on a windy day. One of them looked like he might have been about 13.

I only saw last part of the match last night. There were some good performances I thought Perkins looked quite good in the short time I watched it. Was quick made good decisions with the ball. Hadn’t really heard his name before.

I’ve done no research into their squads but looking at Palace this season (ignore the first 10 games) and their progression and the fact that they were winners/runners-up in the previous seasons might be a good sign for us? Would love to see some of the graduates coming though. Almost a shame the final games haven’t been mid-table dead rubbers.

Palace have had a top quality academy for a while as well, so their progression has been a lot more significant with bringing players through. Theres a lot of South London lads that have come through there due to the success in youth leagues and cups, so, you can only hope that this has a similar affect on Forest. The past few seasons have been a bit bleak, but, hopefully with the European rules as well, we'll see a few crop up in those squads.

We have a new Cherif of Nottingham according to our Academy.

Cherif Yaya joins from Rio Ave.
If I am not mistaken, this is the first 'upward' transfer between EM clubs ever since you changed status being a Premier club; the rest of the transfers between the group have been 'downward' moves.
