Nice to see the penalty shootout excellence runs throughout the club. Thought we were the better team, just couldn't carve out the goal we deserved. Was impressed with the No 10 Perkins, always looking for the ball and making us tick through midfield, full of energy even into extra time, could be a good player on our hands there.

Thanks for the link. Watched it from 47 mins on and from what I saw we deserved to win. Their keeper made three good saves in the play that I saw and they generally didn’t look as dangerous when they attacked. Had the sound low or off so didn’t catch many of the names but I liked number 10’s energy in extra time and number 14 (Whitehall?) put himself about a bit and won the ball a lot in midfield. Thought I caught a reference to les grands vainqueurs rouges at the end, which has a nice ring to it. Hope the first team will be called that a time or two next season…

So that’s the women and the kids thatve done the business, over to the first XI.

Was there tonight along with over 2k others great to see the young lads win and we were the better side over 90 mins and created all the chances, their keeper made a few decent stops but really Forest should have won it inside 90 mins.

Excellent work to all involved and well done lads.

Will be interesting to see if any of this team, apart from Zach Abbott of course, make the first team squad.

Was always disappointed that none of the team who made the FA youth cup final progressed to our first team (apart from Zach Abbott) while Man U had a couple: Garnacheo and Mainoo (I think).

Well done to the youth team.

That Man U side had a few in. Mainoo and Garnacho have played first team, but theres also Omari Forson who has a few appearances.

The Forest side last night had a fair few of our FAYC side in, Perkins, Thompson, Nadin and Gardner all started (they were on the bench in the FAYC), and Abbott, McAdam, Hammond, Powell started again.
Jamie McDonnell has had a decent season on loan at Colchester, finished in the L2 team of the season, and Dale Taylor has had a solid season at Wigan, but, I'd say development wise, we'll see a fair few of these go out on loan next season (really looking forward to Zach getting a decent move).
