I thought before the Wolves game that it was the most winnable game left (along with Sheffield
United).
Sadly,we failed to beat Wolves but I still think IF we win at Bramall Lane we have a realistic
and fairly good chance of survival.
I reckon it’s still all to play for (despite yesterday’s disappointment) and we are in for a
s**t or bust situation in Sheffield.

We have one chance to stay up now - Win @ Sheff Utd
Burnley play Spurs, Newcastle & Man Utd before they play us - maybe they get a couple of draws - that leaves them more than 3 points behind before we play them
Hopefully Luton have run out of steam maybe a win and a draw in them ?
Get Mourinho in for next season.

First Team Squad
My assumption is that our noble but clumsily worded strike on the halls of power will swallow up every part of the players that hasn’t already been swallowed up by the treatment we’ve had on and off the field, and we will go down. First time I’ve thought that all season. There’s barely a leader in that squad and we look and sound defeated, including the manager (the latter being pretty unforgivable but there we go).

We’re not blameless of course, but we’re clearly on the wrong side of somebody, and probably quite a lot of somebodies. And the net result is every opportunity for unconscious bias swinging decisions violently away from us. That’s if it’s not more of a strategic hatchet job. Which it may be.

I’ve felt for a few months now that football as I thought it was is long gone. That day at Wembley was our day in the sun. We’ve sold our home grown, sacked our heart and soul and despite those offerings we’re still getting hounded out of this league. I’ve barely enjoyed a second in this league. I’m not sure I’ll be disappointed if we go down and I’m not sure I’ll want us to come back up. I’m not even sure I’ll be that excited if we manage to survive. And I’m not sure where that leaves me with football in general. Maybe one of those mates of mine that have a team but gladly get on with their Saturdays with an occasional glance at the scores. End of an era.

Luton have yet to play Everton at home.

I’m not suggesting either team will ‘throw it’ but it’ll be interesting how the result will affect our position.

The route is get a draw vs Sheff U and Chelsea, pray for a point back from the appeal which puts us 4 points ahead of Luton and 6 ahead of Burnley.

Luton to only get 3 points and Burnley fall to win before the last game.

I can’t see the appeal gaining any points back.
I think we definitely need to beat Sheffield United.
Might be our only chance, how many millions were Everton over by on their 2nd charge? Personally don't subscribe to the double jeopardy argument. It's a rolling window, you can effectively overcome your misdemeanours of the previous year by being a good little boys this year. Otherwise you could overspent by a billion and say we've already been punished last year so shouldn't get any this time around.

So if Sheff U don't get at least a point in the next 2 games, they are relegated.

Everton will be safe by then and very definitely on the beach, and Luton will win. Anything else you want to know?

What I'd give for our shower to show just a fraction of the desire and bottle this dreadful Everton team are showing tonight.

I'm just resigned to it now. Everything is lining up for a Forest relegation, it almost feels written.
I agree with your first statement but not the second one

Everton winning 2-0 FFS

Yeah but Luton didn't want them to win Vs us because they could get drawn back into it or something.
