I always feel on forums a lot of the time it's a case of one-upmanship.

If the opposite happens, every one is happy and life goes on,if what predicted happens people can get the moral victory of "Told you so"

Happy with that - Everton weren’t great tonight and were easily beatable. They really wanted 3 points with them throwing the keeper up for those last minute corners. We’ve got to go into tomorrow’s game with some confidence and go for it from minute one.

Why on Earth do you think that? Genuine question

People are still predicting Luton to win games despite them being shit and having won one in fifteen games now

I genuinely don't understand it
I thought tonight was going to be the game they were going to win. Which thankfully hasn't happened.

Fulham is winnable for them, but whether they actually do is another matter. They've blown two of their three winnable games now, which IMO puts our fate firmly in our hands (not sure if that is a good thing or not, Forest being Forest and all that!).

Here's hoping we put in a decent performance away from home for once and get three points tomorrow. Good chance that 3 more points will be enough for survival and 4 points (or 3 points plus 1 back from the appeal) almost certainly will be.

A win tomorrow does it, if West Ham beat Luton.

Not quite, Burnley could still leapfrog us but that does require them to get a win Vs either Spurs or Newcastle and it requires us to lose Vs Chelsea and it requires us to have no points returned back to us on the FFP appeal.

Win tomorrow and we're almost there.

I don't necessarily disagree Ashley but you replied to my post which questioned why someone thought Luton would beat Fulham and nothing you've said there responds to that point

Fulham is winnable for them yes because it's a game of football, but nothing I see from Luton, especially in the last few months makes me think they will win

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if they didn't pick up another point from here

Apart from the obvious need for 3 points tomorrow by the time we play Chelsea next week Luton and Burnley will have already played again. We need a cushion (of points) to preserve our squeaky bums!

It’s too tight to be that optimistic.
We need wins.

It's irrelevant anyway. We get relegated if we stay above Luton on GD if both of us stay on 26.

Win tomorrow crucial.

Yes I think that was Luton's last hurah but I wouldn't fancy us in a shoot out to stay up vs Burnley away I do however fancy us tomorrow early goal and they will not be arsed at all 1 game at a time though

Firmly the red herring in this scenario for me. If we go down it’ll be Burnley that stay up. Luton have been the media darling for way too long despite being shite (with heart), whilst Burnley have been picking up points whilst playing more effective football
