I may be alone in wishing this season away but somehow I doubt it.

This pretty much sums up exactly how I'm feeling.

The club should be on an absolute high. The promotion and return to the PL of a sleeping giant was fairytale stuff. The City Ground was a fortress with the best support in the country. We should have been absolutely flying and darlings of the media.

Instead we have literally done everything possible to shit that feel good stuff down the toilet and shown routine levels of arrogance, incompetence and downright amatuer behaviour on an almost weekly basis. Everything the club touches turns to shit.

There will be a documentary about the EM years in the future and it will lay bare how farcical things have been, quite likely ending with our relegation this year due to an entirely avoidable FFP breach.

Best post of 2024. That first line runs deep and hurts with its accuracy. I love Forest but have never felt so much indifference for those employed by it on and off the pitch.

What has set us apart from the rest since we got promoted is just how passionate a fan base we have at the World Famous. No one comes near us when we're on it. We've literally been the 12th man who's kept the club in games and even had us win a fair few that we had no right to on paper. Those same supporters that people across the world listened to in ore v Man City at home are now being shat on.

It's quite vile when you think about it.

I don't feel like the club is grubby at all. Our squad still cost a fraction of the majority of squads in the Premier League and I couldn't give two fucks about breaching PSR rules. Stop the self-flagellation and climb aboard the happy-clapper bus - ding ding

I agree ... high level football is pretty grubby all round and our grubbiness pales into insignificance against that of the governing bodies. I don't blame our owners at all for having a go either. They've made some mistakes for sure but I do believe they want success and not to bleed the club dry like some other owners. I want us to take a stand against the corruption in the rest of the game.
