A scarf maybe? 😉
When you join as a member, you get a scarf (Germans like scarves) a personalised „mini-kit“ with your name on it and „12“ (twelfth man/woman, see) plus a bunch of other stuff and some stickers. You get a permanent discount absolutely everything merchandise-wise the club sells either online or in one of the shops, and priority windows for tickets (that said, tickets generally don’t make any sort of general sale).

Of course the important matter is being able to vote in (and occasionally, out) members of the board of management, and to influence club policy. The annual members meeting, held in September, is also usually well attended.

Oh and you get invites to special club events and stadium tours as well, plus you can win one-off prizes like personal use of one of the Dunkelroter Loges (which are private, cabin-sized executive boxes). Oh and some of the team events, you get all sorts of people turning up, including current and former players, who are happy to mingle with the fans and chat.

Bundesliga Team of the Season is announced; Harry Kane is in there (of course) and two Stuttgart men, Serhou Guirassy and Waldemar Anton:

Subin Hwang

Not that Korean guy
Jeong Wooyeong scores his first goal for Stuttgart - and it's a 2-1 lead against Bayern!!

Anyone watching Girona vs Barcelona?

Barcelona are genuinely poor. I've thought so all season, they can't defend. Basics. But Girona's 4th goal.....what a goal. Best finish I've seen all season.

That means Girona have beaten Barcelona 4-2 home and away this season. Girona are another romantic story to give smaller clubs some hope, having spent most of their history in the 3rd and 4th tiers of Spanish football.

Girona's first ever experience of La Liga was 2017/18. They got relegated 2 seasons later but were promoted to La Liga again via the playoffs the same season Nottingham Forest gained promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs (21/22).

To qualify for the Champions League is a huge achievement for Girona. They could possibly finish 2nd behind Real Madrid.

They are owned by City group so they've obviously got a bit of wonga supporting them and Savio will be joining Man City next season (wonder how much the fee will be...)

Djed Spence's Genoa are currently leading Milan 1-0 and he's looking lively.

I‘m still a bit wankered after celebrating VfB Stuttgart battering Bayern 3-1 yesterday, including Silas Katompa Mvumpa scoring an absolute pearler from the edge of the box.

The Congolese could allegedly be available in the summer. Just saying, Forest.

Meanwhile at the Waldstadion, with five minutes plus stoppage time to play, It’s Eintracht 1, Leverkusen 4, and if it stays like that, this would be 48 games unbeaten in all competitions for Xabi Alonso‘s men.

Not that he can celebrate on the touchline, as the Basque is serving a one-match touch line ban, so is reduced to sitting in the stands communicating with his bench via his AirPods.

48 games though. Wow.

Have they won all the cups they entered for as well? Benfica's record was split over two seasonshalfway through each season, so they could go unbeaten, but not win anything, whereas Leverkusen's record is limited to almost one complete season as they have just completed this seasons games.

They face AS Roma in the Europa Conference League semi-final (they are 2-0 ahead on aggregate ahead of this weeks‘ second leg, and if they remain unbeaten there, they will advance to the final in Dublin).

Also later this month, they face second-tier 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the German Cup Final.

And there are two rounds of Bundesliga matches to play (away to Bochum, and then home against Augsburg on the final day). A „perfect“ season has never been done in German football (nor anywhere else; even the Arsenal‘s „Invincibles“ lost in all their cup games that season).

Oh, right. I thought the Bundesliga games were completed. Looking good!

I read that Aston Villa's match with Olympiacos on Thursday will be refereed by Felix Zwayer, who was banned some time ago, for being part of a Bundesliga match fixing scandal.

Puts our Attwell problems in the shade. Suppose old Zwayer makes a dodgy decision?

He's a Luton fan too. Unbelievable.
