Need some sprinkling of prem proven quality which doesn't cost the earth.

Answers on a post card, scratch that, in an envelope to Ross Wilson please.

I think centre back in particular could use a proven, experienced Premier League player (that isn't made of glass like Boly) in there.

First choice LB. Let Aina/Williams scrap it out at RB. Maybe bring Richards back to eventually take Toff's place in the squad.
Right sided CB. Ideally one who's big, strong & good in the air (a 26 year old Willy Boly).
Left footed winger/AM. Someone who's comfortably drifting in from the right or playing wide left. A bit of balance to CHO/Elanga.

Those 3 priorities for me, plus replacements if MGW/Murillo leave. Another striker & a ball playing no.6 would be nice but that might be a stretch.

„Moving O‘Brien on“?

Forest will need him next season, in the Championship!

A remember everyone clamouring for one of these last summer as well

I still have hope for Sangare but I don't think he's ever gonna be much of a playmaker. Someone to replace Mangala's spot in the squad but with a better range of passing.

What we need to do is to sell Murillo and MGW.

Then we should sign two goalkeepers.

A Portuguese centreback no one has heard of but who is a Mendes client.

A right back who is old, slow and can't cross a ball but has a Champions League medal.

A midfielder that used to play for Liverpool.

A midfielder who is a Mendes Client.

A rapid winger who can't dribble, cross or control a ball (A Diakhaby like) but who has played Champions League football (for 3 minutes as a substitute).

An attacking midfielder on loan provided there is a hefty loan fee and he's a Mendes Client.

A striker with a goalscoring record of 1 goal every 26 games. Ideally played U18's for one of the big six as a teenager.

2 random players who either played for a big six club a couple of times or are Mendes clients (ideally both).

A goalkeeper.

And finally a central midfielder from abroad who has no idea what to do in English football but costs £40m because he's a big signing.

I reckon that will see us burst into the top 6 inside a season.

There's method to this - They never take any of the sensible advice they get given here and are bloody stupid so if we tell them to be bloody stupid they may actually be sensible for once).

It looks like we have an agreement between us:

LB - Richards, Davis or Burrows
RCB - Abbey
CM - Hackney (Part-exchange)
CAM - Reyna (OTB)
WGR - Gil (OTB)
FWD - Archer (OTB), Brereton (OTB), or ???

That would certainly be cheap! Well, compared to normal anyway 😂

If Wood’s fee is split over two years (7.5m off 23/24) and Mangala is sold….we shift on those mentioned…do we really need to sell MGW or Murillo? It doesn’t look like it.

Where about Che Adams though?

I’ve met Erik.

Erik is a beast of a man, with eyes like two blood-oranges and fists like two clenched potting-sheds. He’s normally a gentle soul, never one to anger or mercilessly beat someone to a bloody pulp unless they’ve annoyed him in some way?

Sauce salad?
Reyna has a lot to do to convince me he's worth keeping around - we've been spoilt with the shift Morgan puts in, but Reyna appears to lack drive for the defensive side of the game.

I've heard it all now - apparently the big guns have heard our Murillo price from Football Insider*: 'an offer above 20m'!!!! I mean, it's factual, but it ain't going to be 21 million is it!

* No doubt Pete O'Rourke quoting Pete O'Rourke when citing the fee.

Prediction: we sell Murillo for £30m in June and pass PSR for the 3 years about to finish.

All the people that have been saying for months now that we should have sold Brennan to Athletico for the same price last summer still lose their f***ing minds.

20m in what currency?
If we're talking Pounds...£20m is a fair price for...his big toe (left foot).

What makes you say that? (out of interest)
He's far too important for this team, plays like he actually cares and that's not just for show. He's also contacted for another 4 years at least, we'd get by PSR with trimming the crap rather than removing the heartbeat of your team. I'd even risk another deduction next year than sell him for 40m by the end of June.

I world go as far as to say he's the most important player at the club, any Football Manager wannabe at the club getting other thoughts needs sacking on the spot.

I don't think he'll go on the cheap - we've no history of that under these owners, say what you will about them - but I wouldn't be surprised if this is his last season.

Spurs or Newcastle are my guesses.
