Forest said they warned the pgmol that atwell was a Luton fan. Unless you are on about bias or corruption why even mention the Luton fan bit? It’s a statement to me that quite clearly instead of competence which is the only route we should have gone down but instead bias and corruption. Without any shred of evidence. It was a very naughty statement. As I said I was on board with the requesting of audio and if we said we were concerned about the standard the reffing than fair enough. For me the content of our statement was a bit shameful.

That was the method that Neville said that clubs should use if they disagree with the refereeing.
He said something like, "Forest have gone about it the wrong way. If they think there were issues, the manager should say it in the post match interview and take the fine for it like Fergie used to back in my day."
Obviously he doesn't follow Forest's games because Nunu and Steve before him did this numerous times this season with it making the square root of FA difference other than adding to the PL coffers in fines.
An apology really isn't worth anything as it doesn't change anything. The biggest slap in the face was probably Boly's sending off for being fouled when although the authorities agreed that the ref got it wrong he still had to serve a ban!

Imagine allowing this to happen when you are such paragons of virtue. Imagine also seeing it happen already and doing absolutely nothing about it to such effect that your employee offended again in the same way but worse.
The owners seemingly effectively condone the severe abuse of officials by their employees.

Despite claims that referees are professional & their integrity wouldn't allow them to be biased the PGMOL would not allow a Forest fan to referee a forest game, so are they inferring that their own referees are corrupt?
Just as a side note I do wonder how Stuart Attwell is feeling about all his colleagues & sycophants coming out in his defence by saying that he's not corrupt, he's just incompetent. I think I'd rather be thought of as corrupt

No there isnt a direct accusation but saying someone is a Luton fan is making out that there is a problem with that. Of course you cant have fans of teams actually reffing teams they support. However in the VAR booth its rather different. Take cricket or rugby in internationals you will get Englishman in the VAR positions on England games. I think it was so obvious what Forest were doing and I am with you id rather be called corrupt than shit
