I still think its shameful to call the reffing corrupt with no shred of evidence. The original statmenet to me is still abysmal. We can make a statement about incopetncy fair enough but to imply corruption without any evidence I still think is horrendous. Maranakis made a huge error with FFP, maybe the premier league should come and tweet how Maranakis is a cheat than?
This board we have have been a major dissapointment for me even with promotion sealed and no other board in 20 odd years had done that. That takes some doing to still be a dissapointment with that great achievement.
Also makes me piss myself that we imply the premier league are corrupt than Neville calls EM a mafia boss and some Forest related people are up in arms about that. Feck me its all a shitshow from EM to Neville. Its like being a parent and seeing yoru 2 kids fighting and they just need to grow up.

This is hilarious. They literally charged and punished the club with a points deduction, some of this was probably communicated via Twitter, IDK. Obviously they are inferring Marinakis is a cheat.

Shred of evidence? There's a lot of evidence that refereeing/VAR isn't fair to both teams. If it's not fair then by definition it's corrupt. Look at last night's Brighton v. Man City game.......2 penalty claims from Brighton........not given. It would appear VAR didn't even review last Sunday's 3rd penalty claim.......why not? As clear a penalty as could be. The link between SKY & PL is very cloudy as far as I'm concerned - SKY know the result of a VAR review before the fans in the ground........who's to say SKY aren't having their 3 penny worth???? Forest have had decision after decision go against them this season - why? It certainly seems to me that somethings not right. I actually think it's good to have an owner who is passionate about the Club & prepared to stick his head above the parapet. Being nice gets you nowhere.
Years ago I read Catch 22.......a line in it is properly appropriate today for Forest/us Forest fans............"people who are paranoid know what's really going on".....

When you look at the reason's there is far more chance the premier league is corrupt than not being the problem is proving this in fact nearly anything where a bit of power is involved in this world is corrupt so it certainly shouldn't come as any surprise

Ooh, good old Helmut Krug!
The context: he was accused by the tabloid Bild of interfering in two decisions in a 2017 match between Schalke 04 and VfL Wolfsburg, that resulted in two penalty appeals for Wolfsburg being turned-down by the VAR.
Krug vehemently denied the allegations, protesting his innocence, but the DFB removed him as VAR chief, and replaced him.
The match in question ended as a 1-1 draw.
(Edit: Krug lived/lives in Gelsenkirchen, where of course Schalke 04 are from).

Well at least with this whole situation we've managed to see a few ex-Forest players fully show their true colours, and finally hand in their Forest cards. I never want to hear from the likes of Stan Collymore and Roy Keane talking as though they have a "special connection" with Forest, for me they've shredded any bit of that by jumping on the media attack against the club.

All Forest state is that it was inappropriate for a Luton fan to be the VAR official.
It is you that has said that the reffing is corrupt - they never said that.

Seems like the usual mix of tacitly acknowledging something might be going on, but at the same time taking the piss out of the club for talking about it.

As someone who has worked in live TV in the past - Not sports but shite like Big Brother their is no f***ing way they do not have the audio recording.
They will have back ups and they will also more than likely have a video feed in the room.

You do seem to find a lot of things abysmal and disappointing.
For me the real evidence was in the Liverpool game. That was not a mistake that was a willful failure to apply the rules, not a bad tackle that could be missed in a fleeting second, not a marginal off side or a debatable handball but a willful act of failing to apply the rules of the game by a qualified referee even though his fourth official was trying to point this out to him. Also this was a clear and obvious error which is something VAR is supposed to spot is it not?
That incident alone tells it all really.
