I suppose back then everyone tended to play a big man little man forward line.

I used to work with his cousin and asked if he could introduce us. Alas, was told in unequivocal terms "you'll never meet Des Walker".

Ring ring, ring ring.

"Hello 2013? You seem to have misplaced your LTLF meme."

I completely forgot about that thread. It must have emerged from deep in the subconscious. And I was so pleased with myself too!

Anyway, Murillo, yes, great player.
You have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of, I personally still think it was (one of) this forums‘ finest hour(s).

Thanks Strummer. Last time I felt so ashamed is when I traveled with Desmond to Bavaria and offered to buy him a Weissbier. He replied "you'll never wheat Des Walker".

You think you feel ashamed? I asked Des to marry me and he replied "you'll never complete Des Walker."

Funnily enough I saw Des walking down Maid Marion Way with four shady characters around him. I manoeuvred closer to see it was Atwell, Tierney, Jones and Taylor. Tierney ran in front of Des and Jones shoved him into him. Tierney threw himself to the ground and Taylor screamed penalty. Atwell, who'd recorded it on his phone relooked at it and shouted out "Not a fair tussle for the ball, definite penalty."

Des just stared them down and quietly said "You'll never cheat Des Walker".

I saw Des one day, he was biking along in a pair of old adidas sambas, barely any grip and his feet kept slipping off the pedals and it was clearly a struggle.

Then a guy passes on a really expensive looking bike, wearing Lycra and starts telling Des he needs to get these special shoes that clip in to his pedals.

Des pushes him away and says “you’ll never cleat des walker”.

I saw Des Walker turn up for a date once.

The lady leans in for a kiss on the cheek and a hug. Moves back slightly and hands him a box of celebrations.

Des looks disgusted, throws the chocolates on the ground and says "You'll never treat Des Walker"

I saw Des in a subway once. The server asked him if he wanted extra turkey breast.

Des said “you’ll never double meat Des Walker”

I love Murillo. A proper defender that throws himself in front of almost everything and gets behind the keeper when necessary to block shots.

He has a great defensive instinct in my opinion.

Hope we get to keep him next year.

Just heard his interview and I love him more as he said we in the main rather than Nottingham Forest. Too many of the players use phrases like Forest this and Forest that rather than we. While they may only be contracted to be playing for the team, for me not saying we implies a lack of personal investment in the club.

I think he’s a great talent but I fear he may be sacrificed to balance the books.
We can never seem to keep our best players.

I'm too confused and lazy to understand, does the Brennan sale count on the filing we just got nailed on or does it count for this upcoming one?

As far as I understand it-we need to raise around £30 million in profit before the end of June or we face
another possible points deduction.
