I know there are DA fans here in LTLFland, so I was surprised it took so long for some one to comment on my post.

The drink is yours. Enjoy. :)

I see there is to be some sort of protest arranged for the Man City game against the increased ticket prices. I would rather see a Forza display that emphasises the fact that 'small' clubs get charged with FFP irregularities and 'big' clubs are treated differently. Embarrass the EPL as much as we can.
Absolutely no chance the club would allow those banners in. They have to be sanctioned by the club..Forza have already said today that the club nearly pulled the MGW display

Which is insane as it clearly fired him up and he had one of, if not THE best game all season
Arguably, his best game in a Forest shirt Blondie.

Double bubble - Everton's jeopardy

I missed that. Any links or a rough jist of what was said mate?
Initial discussion was on the price hike. SJ was saying its rough alright but fair (on the provisio that there's a decrease should we go down), this is just the cost of the Premier League and Forest are only catching up with the rest. Its obvious EM isn't doing it for the money he just wants Forest to compete in the League, and if you want to see the best in the world at the CG this is just how it works. Theres always the Championship otherwise.

Discussion turned to Nuno and no one could really figure out whether he's doing a good job or not. Danny Murphy said Forest should be doing better, SJ said they would be but for the points deduction but Danny insisted Forest, with the talent they have, should be ahead of Brentford/Bournemouth regardless. The one thing they were all agreed on was our defending is a bit of a laughing stock at some of the most basic elements of the game

Hmm.
There's so much inconsistency in the workings of the hearing panels - it's almost like thy're making it up as they go along.

I can't believe Everton are appealing the 2 points - they really should have been looking down the barrel of 6-8 for where they are, where their accounts are now and that there has been no effort made to get the right side of the numbers.

Iā€™m not feeling well so canā€™t be arsed ploughing through legal waffle right now. What does this article mean for Forest if we were to say breach by about Ā£10m this season, in comparison to the Ā£35m last season for which we have (currently) been punished to the tune of four points?

Think Everton went from Ā£19m to Ā£16.5m right? Though think the PL are claiming itā€™s actually a bigger breach, hence the extra hearing theyā€™ve kicked into the long grass.

Yes they are claiming Everton's breach is actually 40m.

Ploughing ahead with article anyway it looks like the values for Everton are for the three seasons: -Ā£55m, -Ā£3.8m, -Ā£62.7m.

And theyā€™ve been docked 2 points for that?

Ours is likely to be-Ā£40m, -Ā£52m, break even-ish? Even if we donā€™t sell anyone other than Mangala?

I just donā€™t see any justification for docking us any more than 2 points next season at most, or any incentive to sell anyone else in June unless we get the right price.

Nottingham Forest's appeal against their four-point punishment for breaching profit and sustainability rules (PSR) will be heard on Wednesday, 24 April.

The hearing is expected to be wrapped up within a day, but no final decision will be made on Wednesday and Forest will have to wait to discover if they are successful, with the timeframe of the outcome unclear.

It's upset Marinakis though as it's made him realise MGW is more popular than he is.

That only ends one way, doesnā€™t it?

Expest MGW to be sold for 3.5m to Brentford in June.

I just watched Darren Fletcher's rant about the idea of scrapping replays in the FA Cup, and he goes on to talk about the wider issues of inequality in football, and how the top few teams have the money and power to dictate what happens. The vast majority in the pyramid have little or no say.

This, coupled with this season's FFP issues and the attention generated by VAR and dodgy referee decisions benefitting the top teams, makes me think that there's a change coming. Fletcher even mentions that clubs are not able to buy players because of the restrictions, which just benefit the 'power base at the top.'

People are cottoning on to the widespread corruption in football. Money has ruined the game and as football fans - especially us who are old enough to remember that football existed just perfectly fine before 1992 - we should be saddened at what the game has become.
