I saw that if he made that up that ain't gonna look good, Apparently it is Bournemouth, Which if true I ain't surprised, They had spent a lot of money recently

I still don't see where the could be relegated part falls into it. If it was something serious it would fall into the Man City category if it's PSR then it would be a maximum of 8 points deduction which would put them on 34 points and still 9 clear of the relegation zone.

What‘s up with Ballmouth‘s accounts then?

Suspicious purchases of roof tiles from B&Q?

Even if there was the remotest shred of truth in the Bournemouth story, which I doubt, EPL rules give them the same independent hearing / appeal process as us. Thus, as with Leicester, nothing would happen until next season.

Can't see it with Bournemouth but suppose it could be the difference of deliberately concealing/cheating with the accounts? Regardless, seems a stretch.

I don’t give a flying fig about Bournemouth’s accounts. I also don’t care about ours or Everton’s. All I want is a team to follow that isn’t flying close to the wind of going to the wall and for whom the points won on the field decide where you land in the league. If any owner can afford to spend they should be allowed to do so, if that means the super rich of this world are pushed off to their own closed shop league that they’ll all be bored of within 5 years so be it, but they won’t be welcome back. Give everyone their points back and play football with 22 blokes, a ball and someone to enforce the rules just like the game was always intended.

The PSR stuff has sucked the life out of football this season, no one cares or wants accountants and lawyers changing what’s been won on the pitch. It’s awful.

All this season has taught me is that if I could go back and watch 1990’s football forever, before the PL and Sky took a proper hold and ruined it, then I’d snap your hands off.

We should have just lied in our FFP accounts. By the time our legal accounts had been published, or the EPL had finished scrutinising them, we'd have scrouged another season in the EPL.

This whole thing is utterly insane.

Our real problem is that we haven't had enough bastards in off-field positions!

Commentator during Chelsea v Everton mentioned that Everton’s due date for a loan repayment is tonight. How is that relevant? If they default do they go into administration? I haven’t a clue why the commentator mentioned it so thought I would ask on here.

Nah, nothing will happen to them. They could go into admin and the EPL would just review it next season.

Like Derby, Everton will be given all the time in the world to make that loan repayment or complete their takeover (or find a new buyer if this one falls through).

As Crewton once famously said; there are no deadlines.
Well, except for when you have to be in compliance with the arbitrary financial rules... oh wait, apples and tangelos.

What a f***ing mess this all is.

How can they take something as simple as two jumpers and a ball, arguably the most "spoken language" in the world, which offers so much enjoyment to millions across the globe and ruin it.

Too many people with no football ability are making a very good living off the backs of 22 players running around, and are very good at protecting their income while trashing the beautiful game.

Everton loan repayment extended, I think they are finished, 777 partners don’t have the money, MSP don’t want the club. I think they are dragging out administration to the Summer

I think they're sailing so close to administration personally and it wouldn't surprise me if they possibly are and that the players have been told based upon tonight's performance.
